Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak spoke to the world following the opening of a ground offensive into Gaza by Israeli Defense Forces. He said that Israel had "weighed all options," and had now begun "phase two" of their operation to root out Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Barak said the operation would "widen and deepen" as necessary to achieve Israel's security.
There is no question but that Israel has every right to do what is necessary to end Hamas' ability to lob shells into Israel killing Israeli civilians. Imagine if terrorists were shelling American cities in New Mexico or Texas from our southern border? Would the U.S. have the right to enter Mexico to end such attacks? Of course we would! The fact Hamas embeds their operatives among the civilian population of Gaza means any civilian casualties are on their own heads, and not on Israel. I hope Israel will sustain this operation long enough to do real and lasting damage to Hamas and their ability to do harm to Israel. . . . . (see video)

THANK YOU FOR HAVING THE BALLS WE DON'T HAVE SOMETIMES
i hope so, I am tired of Israel just fugging around with our billions of defense funding. I hope Bush and Rice stay the fug out of it.
In the good old days, we firebombed Tokyo and devastated Dresden. That’s how to take the fight out of people. I support a massive campaign against terrorists that would result in unimaginable casualties. I’m all for it.
The more I think about it ... they only way that ISRAEL will Survive or even THINK of being Victorious... I’ve come to the conclusion that the only strategy that will work is ... SCORCHED EARTH.
If you do not destroy EVERYTHING in your path, you will be dealing with the little rockets and mortars after the NEXT .. cease fire..
G-D BLESS ISRAEL, and keep her SAFE!
Barak is Defense Minister, not Prime Minister.
Deep and wide
Deep and wide
There’s a fountain flowing deep and wide
Wide and deep
Wide and deep
There’s a fountain flowing wide and deep
War must be fought and won devastatingly and convincingly. Stopping with cease-fires only leaves the door open to future conflict. I hope Israel kills every single HAMASer. Can’t happen soon enough.
I will give you an AMEN!
Hence my reverting back to a childhood Sunday School song. I find it odd that Barak used this analogy and it triggered a memory of a childhood church song.
I sing in honor of Isreal and sing for their success in snuffing out evil in their midst.
Deep and wide... there’s a fountain flowing deep and wide...
