Andrea Returns to Blog Talk Radio Monday, Jan. 5th

There's been quite a bit of discussion about our Constitution, how it's been neglected, being ignored, declared by some to be antiquated, no longer in step with today's world.

Some say it's time to have an Article V Convention to address some of the pressing issues of our times, and remind or educate Americans just what the Constitution says. But... are we opening Pandora's Box by pushing for Congress to hold a Constitutional Convention?

Monday night we'll get some answers when we talk to Bill Walker, co-founder of "Friends of the Article Five Convention".

Loki, a Constitutional scholar and host of Founding Truth heard on BTR, will join me as we get educated on what we must do to control a runaway Congress, activist court, and overreaching executive branch.

Join us at 9 pm ET Monday night for an hourlong look at the process by which we govern ourselves, and where we stand as a republic.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: Monday night's show is the only one I'm scheduling for the week. My laptop is in the shop, and it will be a few days before it's back in my lap and rarin' to go again.

If you've marked my show as a BTR favorite, watch your email for notice of the resumption of regular programming. If you haven't marked my show as a favorite, for goodness sake, what are you waiting for? (On the show page, click the red heart below the BTR player located in the righthand sidebar.)

Meanwhile, may I suggest you listen to a couple of the most popular shows in the BTR archive, which attracted the most listeners last month. They're still quite relevant!

The MOST listened to program in December: California Attorney Orly Taitz talks about the lawsuits being brought -- all the way up to the Supreme Court -- that question Barack Obama's Constitutional eligibility to take office of President. Find that show here or paste the link below in your browser: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/HeadingRight/ASKShow/2008/12/11/The-Andrea-Shea-King-Show

The SECOND most listened to show last month featured journalist and author Joan Swirsky, who has written extensively about the cloud of doubt surrounding Obama's eligibility to be president because of uncertainty about his place of birth. Her controversial piece appeared in the Tulsa Today newspaper on Nov. 22nd, and provides one of the most comprehensive overviews of the issue and the various lawsuits that have been filed demanding Obama produce his Certificate of Live Birth, in order to show once and for all where he was born. Find that show here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/HeadingRight/ASKShow/2008/12/11/The-Andrea-Shea-King-Show

The THIRD most listened to show - a fascinating talk with Leo Donofrio, attorney whose lawsuit challenging Obama's eligibility went all the way to the Supreme Court. Also, Charles Dunn, former special assistant to the House Minority Whip, who gives his opinion on Obama's cabinet picks, with an emphasis on O's national security team. 'Radio Patriot' Andrea Shea King Come join Andrea Shea King tonight at 21:00ET (6PM for those in Rio Linda) for what will likely be a wide ranging and interesting discussion about our Constitution. (Click the pic -->)

It should surprise no one that our Founders left a lot out, as they believed that We the People with our education in common and natural law would provide the controlling limits on governmental growth. Like every fertile garden, the weeds encroach and must be removed, else the only thing left to do is to plow it under and reseed. I pray we are not at that point yet.
