I have many Skank fan friends (and family members), so despite your lack of taste I’ll still consider you a FRiend!

OK ... fair enuff ... /chuckle ... now then, what is your take on the DiMaggio for Williams trade which almost happened?

My guess is that Joey-D would have knocked the damn Green Monster right into the Citgo sign at Fenway ... and that Teddy (frozen head) would have parked the ball way past "Ruth's Porch" in the Stadium ....

Williams would definitely have benefited hitting in the stadium. Not sure about Joe in Fenway, though he’d have loved playing with Dom. Depends on if he lofted balls or hit line drives for homers primarily. A line drive hitter (Jim Rice, Manny) is hurt by the wall. Home runs turn into singles. If Joe was a lofter (Dwight Evans, Rico Petrocelli), he’d have benefited.
