Tell me again, what is the goal of the tea parties?

To make a LARGE PUBLIC statement announcing that we want our liberties back ... that we wish for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, not government control of our lives and finances. Some people want to capture an intensity of feeling that they are not alone in this. Others want to rub it in the noses of the anti-liberty, sneering, arrogant "mainstream" media. Others to help plant a seed of doubt, and even start a wave of skepticism, about where our well-spoken criminal president is leading us. I share a little or a lot of each of the aforementioned reasons. DO YOU ??????

Did it make a large statement? If so - to whom? The media? The jerks who voted for this abomination? Are they listening?

So, it's just a matter of waiting until 7/4, eh? I'll check back on 7/5 to see if it made a difference.

When we stop organizing for attention and start organizing for impact, let me know.

PASS IT ALONG!

Thanks. Will do. I will not be attending any Tea Parties in my state. The north west region of WI. Has no clue of what has happened to our country. I am the only 1 in a rural town of 11K that has a clue of what has happened to our
Country. Over the course of many months, I have consistently on a daily basis tried to inform county and city folks only to find it fell on deaf ears. Today at work I mentioned to the CEO of the company I work for the subject of Cap And Trade.
Believe me when I say I was
STUNNED when he hadn't a clue of how Cap and Trade will eventually bankrupt his chain of many many coops and other business's.

Any way, when offered work for the 4TH I excepted the
Holiday pay laced with my
Regular hourly rate.

“When we stop organizing for attention and start organizing for impact, let me know.”

Hey, I'm with you...but of course, if I stayed home and you did too...there would be NO protest...and if you can't get anyone to tear themselves away from the grill for a day, what kind of sacrifice will they make, EVER?...me, I think if we believe we can wait any longer than past July 4th, considering the speed with which they are moving, either we are all full of crap, that there is no big emergency REALLY, or when the time comes, we're all gonna go to sleep like they did in Germany...but we'll all talk a good game...just an opinion...

And if you check back on the fifth and it didn't work, it will because everbody decided to wait til the 5th..to check back...
