There’ll be a tradeoff in the Senate: Sotomayor for Cap and Trade. Her reversal probably assures her confirmation as the lesser of two evils.
Here’s it works.
The reversal fans the stink from Sotomayor. Three hundred boxes of probably damaging new Sotomayor documents have just surfaced. The Marxist controlled media couldn’t smother the truth about this racist fraud forever.
Reid’s problem
The House Marxists voted to collectively jump off a cliff with Cap and Trade. While many voted “No” many others voted “Yes” and are now politically screwed.
Jim Inhofe sees no more than 34 “Yes” votes in the Senate. A Nevada poll is bad news for Harry Reid. His favorable numbers are below John Ensign’s at 39/34!
Obama’s fading
Obama’s January 30 point advantage on Rasmussen’s Presidential approval index is below zero today. He can’t help Reid.
Cap and Trade plus Sotomayor have Harry Reid in a bind. He doesn’t have the votes to pass this destructive bill, and she is an obvious racist fraud.
The tradeoff
Reid has two bags of crap on his hands. Neither could pass in ordinary times, but we’re not in ordinary times. He’ll have to offer Obama an “either or” and Obama will pick Sotomayor.
Why Obama won’t care Obama’s trying one program after another to destroy America until he wins one. Each will be capable of destroying America on its own. He doesn’t have to win them all, just one or two wins will ruin us.
He’ll back away from Cap and Trade then come at us with his Health Care scheme. If that goes down, he’ll have another one. Sotomayor is the lesser of two evils. She’ll only replace another liberal justice. Cap and Trade and what is next will end America if we don’t beat them back one after another.

I don’t believe for a second that Cap and Trade has only 34 votes in the Senate. I don’t trust these liars one iota.

No Trade off. Neither passes the Senate.
Cap and trade would be a complete disaster.
It would mean higher energy bills for ALL Americans.
It would mean our country would DECREASE its own energy production and we would become more reliant on foreign sources of energy.
It would do virtually nothing to stop the proliferation of air pollution because other countries would still be producing their own pollution at increasing rates and without worldwide cooperation pollution would continue unabated.
Therefore do not believe one single word the democrats say on this issue. They are a bunch of liars and would say anything to the American people in order to continue their far left agenda which is the complete destruction of our great country. The democrats are like terrorists but instead of bombs they are using legislarion to destroy our country and they must be stopped.
I like mass starvation legislation, because that is what happens when you cripple the economy. Why is he doing it? So that the people have the same problems they had during the depression. It makes them dependent on the federal government. The problem with that, at the moment, is we are technically bankrupt and soon will just have paper money.
Next? Health"care" It will be for "all Americans." Including the illegals.
Then it will be "immigration reform" (AMNESTY for criminal illegal aliens) for 35 million illegals to punch up the communist agenda "democrats" voter base.
The excuse will be to lock them into paying taxes to support Health"care." Nevermind all the claims for years that the illegals already pay taxes, mostly during the push for amnesty phase.
Obama and Reid can shove both right up each others a$$. There should be lines forming now at polling stations for the 2010 vote.

The judge is in and there is nothing that can be done about it.
I would think that Obama would throw Sotomayor under the bus to get cap and trade passed. Sotomayor doesn’t change the court much. Cap and trade is a whole lot of change. Also, the Republicans will get more press by defeating Sotomayor than they will by defeating cap and trade. I still think he will get both through the senate but it may have to wait for Franken to get seated.
