In light of contemporay political and and social and religious conditions in the United States, I want to look at Psalm 2. Psalm 2 is not only a Messianic Psalm, but also a prophetic warning to the Gentile nations to serve the LORD Jesus Christ in the Church Age. The context is the Gentiles nations, not Israel.

A Muslim dies and finds himself before the pearly Gates. He is very excited, as all his life he has longed to meet the Prophet Mohammed. Having arrived at the Gates of Heaven, he meets a man with a beard.
‘Are you Mohammed?’ he asks.
‘No, my son. I am Peter. Mohammed is higher up and he points to a ladder that rises into the clouds.
Delighted that Mohammed should be higher than Peter, he climbs the ladder in great strides, climbs through the clouds coming to a room where he meets another bearded man.
He asks again, ‘Are you Mohammed? ‘No, I am Moses. Mohammed is higher still.
Exhausted, but with a heart full of joy, he continues to climb the ladder and, yet again, he discovers an even larger room where he meets another man with a beard.
Full of hope, he asks again, ‘Are you Mohammed? ‘No, I am Jesus...You will find Mohammed higher up.
Mohammed higher than Jesus! The poor man can hardly contain his delight and climbs and climbs, ever higher Once again, he reaches a larger room where he meets a man with a beard and repeats his question:
‘Are you Mohammed?’ he gasps, as he is by now, totally out of breath from all his climbing. ‘No, my son. I am God. But you look exhausted. Would you like a coffee?’ ‘Yes, please, my Lord’
God looks behind him, claps his hands and Calls out: ‘ Hey, Mohammed, two coffees!’
Keep your trust in God; the government has failed.
Psalm 2 (King James Version)
Psalm 2
1Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
LOL - allah’s a gopher!
I think Mohammed is actually serving satan in hell.
Man, that’s really going to piss off the muzzies that read this.
The question of the moment is -- which enemy of God's will bite the dust next -- secular humanism (the governing faith of America's ruling elite) or Islam? How can we as Christians be ready to take advantage of either window of opportunity? I strongly recommend a two-prong effort:
Actually, the two projects go together very well. Islamic cultures tend to be family-friendly, and these young elite scholars rejoice to be “adopted” into the heart of a friendly American Christian family. The kids can learn an in-demand foreign language from native speakers, and see God’s sovereign grace in operation.
