Rep. Michael Burgess, one of the few medical doctors in the House of Representatives today, gives us his opinion on the upcoming battle on reforming Healthcare.
“Some of the things like health savings accounts and health reimbursement accounts may not even be qualified coverage under some of the Democratic plans so that a person would have to pay a fine in order to keep their insurance. Kind of makes a mockery out of the slogan, ‘If you like what you have you can keep it.’
“I sympathize with people that look at congress this year what has already been done. We took over your bank, we took over your car manufacture, we closed your car dealer, and now we want in your doctor’s office.”
“Honestly, they have the numbers where they don’t need to include Republicans. An issue this large, however, really bipartisanship is not just a slogan if you want it to endure. If you want it to really deliver on the promise to the American people, you do need to include both sides.”

Over $1 Trillion Dollars and it won’t cover all the uninsured! This is yet another Ozero Boondoggle, aimed not at universal coverage but at universal control.
If the GOP had any cojones, they’d literally sit this out until 2010. There really is no point in voting on any Dhimmicrat Agenda.
Might as well. Nothing will stop this.
