Get lost.
I apologize to all for the use of the term ‘coup’. I changed it to read: “removed through legal military action.” I should have put more thought into that when I wrote it. Sorry!
Not a problem. It was an accurate reflection of the way this story is being reported and how our own government is portraying it. It only chafes those who don’t bother to read anything but the headline.
Yes, we know why Obama and the other Marxists support Zelaya.
I doubt Obama would be much exercised if Zelaya were a right-wing fundamentalist. The simple fact is that Obama wants leftists in power. He is far more comfortable dealing with them, because he thinks like them.
This is what Heather wrote, “Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was removed through legal military action for attempting to rewrite his nations constitution to extend his term limits; however, our own commander in chief threw support his way. In response to the action, President Obama said the following:.... “
It does not appear to me that the author is defending Zelaya. It doesn’t say anything about a military coup, it says it was LEGAL military action and she gave the valid legal reason.
See post 23 from the author.
Thanks Heather. I would count you as a good journalist for (1) making sure the article is correct in every possible way and (2) admitting a mistake, no matter how small (since your desire is to be “read” by a large-ish audience)
Those attributes will keep everyone here returning to your articles in the future.
