Remember that Department of Homeland Security Report warning people to "watch out" for returning veterans as well as those who oppose government policy on guns, abortion, immigration, states' rights, etc.

Well hows this for scary? Florida Congressman Alcee Hasting put an amendment on the defense bill that would allow the White House categorize political opponents as hate groups, throw them in jail. It gets worse, Hastings is also sponsoring a bill that will build prison camps to house these political opponents.

I wish Steele would pro-actively identify candidates and start lining them up but I don't receive any information from the RNC that there is any organized effort happening.

We need to start setting up a network now, because later will be too late. History is replete with reasons why.
People are deluded into thinking it's business as usual, more of the same.....it is not. These evil people are no different than the soviets or nazis, and the only thing holding them back right now from going further and faster is the speed of today's communications, and the armed citizenry that exists today. The revival of the fairness doctrine, by whatever name they give it, will eliminate the former, and by passing laws to make virtually everyone a felon, they will achieve the latter.
If it comes to armed insurrection, than so be it, because respect for the law only works when the law is respectable. They will try to use it as a yoke, and will succeed if America lets them. Unfortunately, most Americans today could name every member of their favorite sports team, or who the current fop on American idol is, but they cannot name their representatives, or supreme court justices. They slog along blissfully ignorant every day thinking their comfortable lives will never be changed, as if politics, like American Idol, is just a popularity contest with no repercussions.

They couldn't be more wrong, and sadly, they won't wake up until the store shelves are empty and a blade of grass looks as good as a pork chop.

I see the fences going up, even if they don't. I'm taking steps to get mobile right now, and am looking into real-estate and jobs in Texas. I currently work in the IT field, and could find employment there, but I have other options. My first and true trade is machinist and toolmaker, with a fair amount of gunsmithing in there to boot, which means that even if they take away my guns, I can MAKE my OWN, and I pride myself on knowing that I can even smelt the iron, and make the furnace to do so, as well as make any part with almost nothing if I need to.
