Robin of Berkeley wrote an amazing piece on the state of our society. Robin is a frequent contributor to American Thinker, a recoverning liberal and a psychotherapist in Berkeley.

After I grew up and became a psychotherapist, I learned that there was a name for Tom's (the author’s older brother) behavior, sadism. Sadists get a thrill out of being cruel and watching others suffer and it seems many in power are sadists.

The author praises Gov. Palin for being a victim. I have seen this one before, de Sade usually wins. You cannot defeat bullies with kindness no matter how long you endure their torment. The only way to defeat a bully is to turn and fight more viciously then they do. To destroy them completely before they have the chance to destroy you. The difference between the good person and the bully is not that good person does not resort to violence, but that they do not do so as a first recourse. Those who will not repay the Saul Alinsky worshipers insult for insult, protest for protest, and if necessary gun for gun will be reduced to slaves.

I look around each day and ask myself the same question, "Where are the human beings?" I see fewer and fewer each day.

On the brighter side, when the day comes that we have to shoot them, (and they are pushing hard for such a confrontation), the above observation will ease the natural resistance to the task.

Liberals react to emotion, so give them one, FEAR. The actress who goes on an anti-American rant needs to see her career destroyed. The talk show host who jokes about raping the under age daughter of our leaders needs to see his sponsors boycotted. Above all we need to be just as willing to go to the street as they are. ACORN and the Black Panthers have to know that if they try to keep our people away from ballot box then it will be a Civil War II and they will be the first casualties.

My daughter is reading that book now.

I require her to do a summary of each chapter.

At the end she will rename the characters they are today .... Obama, Pelosi, Reid, media etc.. I will give her room for personal picks but Obama heads the list.

She'll be entering 5th grade this fall. This past year way too much time was spent on the election. Frankly I didn't want to politicize her as much with this stuff. NOW, I will. Pandora's box has been opened and her eyes will be opened too. Another assignment I hope to get to is to do a compare/contrast using the Humanist Manifesto, the Communist Manifesto and the Christian Manifesto (Schaeffer). I want her to see the differences and which one aligns with the Bible.

I like Palin but I do NOT want her for President. I could compromise on VP but NOT President. She needs to tend to her family. Clearly it fell apart while she pursued her political ambitions.

I thought it was interesting how “Christians” rationalized her ... Esther, Ruth and even Joan of Arc. Neither of them had children. Palin forgot about hers ... and Mr. Mom didn’t work out too well .... Palin is a “good” person and speaks up but I don’t want her family to further erode for “politics”. her family should be more important.
