For those of you who are a bit concerned about Government intruding in on our lives, this one will make your head explode. Something interesting came out of the Health Care bill proposed by the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee appropriately named Help, because that's what America should scream every time they pass a bill. The Senate bill authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services Secretary to come up with a new standards for measurement of gender. The United States wants to stop using just the categories of “male” and “female.
If this isn't beyond the pale crazy nothing is. Too bad the authors of this Senate bill never had the chance to sit down with their parents for an explanation of the difference between girls and boys:
