Birthers...Traitors? Or Merely Fools? (You had to see this coming if the race card ain't working)
WhitesCreek Journal ^ | August 3, 2009

Posted on 08/03/2009 9:03:38 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

If someone intentionally tried to thwart the workings of the United States government by fake documents and misinformation, we would normally call them “espionage agents” and try them for treason if they were exposed and caught. So what about the people who have several versions of a fake Obama birth certificate that purports to prove he was born in the Republic of Kenya and therefore can’t serve as President? Isn’t that treason?

The best of these forgeries has several versions, some better Photoshop products than others, but the funny thing about all this is that they are all so bad that they can only fool fools. The real Obama birth certificate has been released, examined, vouched for by hospital officials, and verified by birth announcements published in the local Hawaiian newspapers in 1961, a really nice touch that would be impossible to fake. So the question is not whether “Birthers” are fools, but whether those who are manipulating them should be tried as traitors to the very nation they claim their brand of virulent “patriotism” to?

Most of the websites that have sprung up surrounding this idiocy spew verbiage intended to support the birther premise and nothing to the contrary is allowed. Here is one that takes a critical thinking approach to the movement and not only blows it out of the water but makes the entire birther movement, including Lou Dobbs at CNN, look like morons.

http://nativeborncitizen.wordpress.com/2009/08/02/third-obama-birth-certificate-appears-in-court/

Rather than dwell on these easily manipulated suckers, I want to know why we aren’t going after the people who are trying to destroy the Presidency of the United States of America by producing fake documents, albeit stupidly and badly done documents?

The bigger problem with American journalism is only partly that a bleached toothed tool like Lou Dobbs is what passes for a legitimate journalist in today’s media. The real problem is that real journalists, who believe in their Constitutional obligation to deliver truthful investigative reporting, have been eclipsed by bleached toothed tools who are willingly manipulated by traitors.

This is why such an obvious movement for the greater good of all citizens, such as Heathcare Reform, is having such a difficult time becoming reality. If there such a thing as Truth Police and they had the power to stop the lies, we would already have a robust public option with everyone in the United States of America having basic health care insurance. Are those who are funding the anti health care reform propaganda traitors, or just insurance industry tools? Even more to the point…Is there a difference?

Peace,

Steve

If this is satire, it's spot-on. But I have a feeling it's not, and this guy really believes all the things he writes here. Sad.

I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH, if that makes me a raciest, fool or whatever … I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH.

Considering the toilet bowl looming in front of this country, anyone trying to play the race card is irrelevant.

My country, my freedom, my children and grandchildren’s futures are all I care about.

He has a point. It's time to bring Dan Rather, Bill Burkett (or whatever his name is) and the whole 60 Minutes/CBS News apparatus up on charges.

LIE=>

“verified by birth announcements published in the local Hawaiian newspapers in 1961, a really nice touch that would be impossible to fake.”

Barrack H. Obama and Stanley Ann Obama never resided at the birth announcement address.

In my opinion this was done to support whatever the lie about his birth place was. We still do not know where he was born......

try them for treason ...

Try me for treason ... please. I'm a "birther". I was a "birther" before the term was coined. Before that, I was just a Constitutional Conservative. I'll be tried; and happily so. At least I'll have "standing" in court and be able to put an end to the silliness that pervades government today. I'll take one for the team. Anyone else?

“Bill Burkett (or whatever his name is)”

Yep.

You got his name right.

At one time many years before this event I worked in the same company with him. I knew him, sort of. We were salesmen for the same company in different States. Saw him 2 times per year for a few years.

Some here will not like to hear this ... but I think there are some “Birthers” in all three camps — patriots, traitors and fools.

- The patriots are the majority. They have genuine questions and seek genuine answers. They are good men and women, salt-of-the-Earth, and value their country and their Constitution. They want to know if the man in the White House is truly qualified to be there. They want him out if he is truly not qualified, and want him to serve his term out (as unsuccessfully as possible) if he is actually qualified. I count myself among them. The other two groups give this group a bad name.

- The traitors are those who will seek the overthrow of Barack Obama by any means possible. They honestly don’t care if he is a citizen of the US, Kenya, or Mars. They would simply rather see a tyranny that they agree with than a fairly elected leader that they do not. These are few and far between, but the do exist.

- The fools are the ones that start out as patriots, and get worked into a froth by the traitors. They are passionate, loud mouthed, and generally talk bigger than their swagger justifies. Rather than actually examining evidence, they’ll believe anything they read that agrees with their preconcieved notions. These are your keyboard “revolutionaries” — typing feverishly as their rhetoric spirals more and more out-of-control.

If the latter two categories would shut-up for ten consecutive seconds, and stop making the whole group look like a bunch of raving lunatics, the much larger former group of genuine patriots might actually be able to get something done.

So all the Kenyan birth certificates are bad photoshops, but the bad photoshop of Obama’s Hawaii Birth Certificate is just hunky dory?

What is sad is that we have alleged “conservatives” who are spouting this same marginalization type of nonsense like this libbie

What about the fake COLBs?

And...Dr.Fukino’s circuitous obfuscations regarding vital record verify other vital records sounds like a Monty Python skit.

Has anyone ever seen an actual **paper** copy of the newspapers where Obama’s birth was announced?

Geeze! There must be one in some dusty library or tucked away in a baby book somewhere.

Not a Dobbs fan, but his work is clearly identified as commentary, not news reporting.

It's a FAR bigger problem that people like Andrea ("People don't know what's good for them") Mitchell are considered "objective reporters."

I wouldn’t be surprised if Rahmbo didn’t post this.

As a Canadian I’m amazed at how much the President of the US is allowed to hide. More importantly is WHY he feels it neccessary to have ‘classified’ all his school records, etc.

I love the USA and I’m sure the whole world is watching and wondering, and just as suspicious as all of you. Hang in there friends.
