Questioning our Patriotism - Return of HUAC?

For the last 8 years George Bush was called every hateful name that could be dreamed up from chimperor to Bush-Hitler. The left held huge rallies, they got loud, they broke windows, they shut down debates and they always scolded those who questioned their patriotism in kissing up to the worst kinds of terrorist and dictator scum.

In St. Louis a conservative handing out small flags was beaten to the ground and kicked in the head by 4 paid union thugs. He was hospitalized while HHS Sec Sebellius thanked the SEIU for their good work in a teleconference and said "keep it up".

Meanwhile the left blamed the dissidents for the violence that the left was doing, the SEIU claimed to be a 'victim'.During the last 8 years we were told that dissent is patriotic, indeed the very highest level of patriotism. Today we are tolds that dissent is un-American.

The left howled and raged when terrorists were spied on. Today the ACLU sees nothing at all the matter with a White House asking people to turn in their neighbor for his thoughtcrime of opposing government-run healthcare. Where does this hypocrisy stop?

Why does a government declare its own people to be their enemies? Why does a White House claim a video of a Barack Obama speech is now "disinformation"? I suppose they have airbrushed that speech out of the official history books.

Amazingly after 8 years of being told not to question their patriotism, they now question ours. In Mondays 'USA Today' no less, I bet there is no alternative opinion since that would be un-american.

Just look at the real history of the world and ask yourself, what happens to a country when its government declares its people to be the enemy?I guess Nancy "Nazi" Pelosi and Harry Reid will soon be holding hearings on these "un-american activities".

They probably have the stationary already printed up: The House Unamerican Activities Committees.

After everything we have seen the government do in the past 6 months, why would you doubt it?

We need a plan.

How do we “rise up”?

Can we recall our Congress members in every state? Is that constitutional? (I don't think so)

Can we stop any legislation with a lawsuit once passed? On what grounds?

They have the votes, they have the media, they have enough Americans who support this.

We need to start investigating what we can do in the courts.

They were meant to root out communist agitators.

Perhaps we need a new HUAC to identify the new cabal of communist agitators.

The courts? You are kidding? They are owned. All we can do is start in every town to elect honest, upright constitutional abiding, small govt loving folks. End gerrymandering (that will be a hard one), create term limits. That’s a start. Get the word out on this stuff. Be polite, be professional. I think ads showing gerrymandered districts on billboards would be a great start. A return to the constitution and the original district laws would be a start. Certain amendments should be kept, abolish the IRS and the Fed.

These people are drunk with power and control.

Their pronouncements and actions are like every other repressive, tin-horn regime in history. Label the opposition with exactly what they themselves are doing and then use the government controlled and co-opted press to spread that lies, and then use their thugs to try and enforce it and stamp out dissent.

Well, not any more in this country. The health care debate has blown the lid on it and it's time to carry it through on this issue and every other similiar issue (like Cap & Trade, FOCA, etc.) that these wanna-be tyrants propose.

President Barack Hussein Obama said on August 7, 2009, that he expected the people who caused the financial and health care mess to be quiet, stand out of the way, and let it be fixed. Well, Mr. President, if you do not want the people who created this mess standing in the way of fixing it. Okay, then you, Mr. Obama...and Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, et all had best step out of the way yourselves because you not only helped engineer the problems that ensured the fiasco...you are now intent on making it immeasurably worse in your drive towards abject marxism.

In order to hide this, and in an effort to push their monstrosity Health Care, the liberal-left and Obama seem intent on turning the frustration and angst of the American people over his policies into something more akin to Iran over this issue, with their own Basij thugs sent out to silence us, and Obama supporters called on by the Whitehouse to report any dissent.

Despite all this, the American people are downloading the Dem Health Care Plan HERE and elsewhere and educating themselves.

They are also reading the cited quotes of the main architect of the plan and Chief Advisor to Obama on Health Care HERE and elsewhere, and seeing the context of the plan from the designer of it.

So, when Sarah Palin callis it evil, they know for themselves that she speaks the truth.

So they continue to take their feelings...and their own documentation...to their reps and getting in their faces about it.
