Obama’s Tone-Deaf Health Campaign
Wall Street Journal ^ | 08/11/2009 | Dorothy Rabinowitz

It didn’t take chaotic town-hall meetings, raging demonstrators and consequent brooding in various sectors of the media to bring home the truth that the campaign for a health-care bill is, to put it mildly, not going awfully well. It’s not hard now to envision the state of this crusade with just a month or two more of diligent management by the Obama team—think train wreck. It may one day be otherwise in the more perfect world of universal coverage, but for now disabilities like the tone deafness that afflicts this administration from the top down are uninsurable.

Here’s a questionb someone should ask zero (ripped off from another FReeper’s tagline): “Obama wants his healthcare bill passed in 4 weeks, but it took him 6 months to select a dog”. Why??

That’s actually taken from a town hall meeting, nt a freeper headline. The headline took it from a town hall confrontation.

They THINK they are SMARTER and BETTER than us.

And that attitude will be a permanent, unchangeable feature of our Washington DC overlords if Obama gets his way. See my tagline...

They THINK they are SMARTER and BETTER than us.

This is the most galling feature of the lockstep Left, as well as their slavering lackeys in the media. They are convinced of their intellectual superiority, but, when challenged, become enraged as they are confronted with the truth that this carefully nurtured self-image is entirely false. They live in lockstep mode, incapable of a single original thought.

The Left leads the world in self-esteem and trails it in real ability. Always has.

In 2003, Hillary Clinton screeched “I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”
