Thank God the State-run Media has something new to talk about besides the burgeoning unemployment rate and the jobless “recovery”....

Stabenau best book this one to fly into; maybe she’ll finally bust a nut.

The storms in the Pacific are wimpier than those in the Atlantic. We go for quality not quantity!

Why is the left (media) so excited about this?

It takes the Health Care Fiasco off the screen and replaces it with a well known climate disaster that will no doubt, smash into New Orleans and leave thousands stranded up to their knees in flood waters.

A polar bear clinging to an ice cube will likely get some footage on the story.

You any relation to DingleBerry?

Hope the administration sends more help and at least a sentence or two of acknowledgement to that disater. It will be a change from the flooding in the midwest, the tornadoes and the ice storms that didn’t even get acknowledged by them this past winter.......

Since 7-14-09, no comment after post, hasn't bothered to create an about page, posting link from your blog, hmmm, it would appear that you are just PIMPING your blog here.

If not then welcome and why not post a comment as to why we should bother to follow your link and also why don't you create an about page so we may know something about you and your beliefs? It's generally done that way.

These formed very late in the season; it has been a very calm Atlantic so far. Imagine a whole Hurricane season condensed into the last half.

Because this year is starting to look like a ‘do-or-die’ year for the AGW pry-the-money-from-their-dead-hands crowd.

If they had waited two more days this year would be a record year for no tropical storms this late in the season.

Andrew in 1992 was named on Aug 17th and remains the latest year by this ‘naming act’ we saw this morning.

Ana has been stuck on 40 mph all day and now Bill is also at 40; Bill has a shot at stardom by Tuesday but Ana may turn into a pumpkin.

“Bill has a shot at stardom by Tuesday but Ana may turn into a pumpkin.”

You are correct. Ana busted up and Bill is strengthening. Surprise, look what popped in the Gulf overnight.

I’m pretty sure that that surprise was the result of the forecasters taking their eyes off the wave out in front of Ana that had dumped on Hispaniola earlier; I had a bad feeling about that area last night around 11:00pm but I clicked off and went to bed — gotta get my ‘ugly sleep,’ you know.

Yep, just woke up from my “ugly” sleep. TS Claudia is breaking up over the panhandle just now. I’ve noticed a lot of activity south of Cuba worth noting. Guess Bill is now a Cat 1. So was Charlie when it hit Central Florida.

Gotta love August in Florida.
