My husband says no way. He will boycott scotch tape and plaid and bagpipe music as well as haggis.
We are going to Scotland in the spring and will tell them we understand having a gov that is not what one is,,
I'll be understanding if the Scots see to it that the people involved in this are made to pay with their jobs.

In Edinburgh, get the "day pass" at the tourist info center. Skip the dungeon, definitely hit the Camera Obscura, Whisky Heritage, and zoo.
The Jacobite train I think it's called (it's a steam train that was in a Harry Potter movie they tell me) was really cool. We drove up from central Scotland and it was worth it. Take a jacket (at least), in our case it was much cooler when we stopped for lunch than when we left.
The Castle Dunne is where they filmed Holy Grail.
We ended our trip in Glasgow, and I must say I wish I wouldn't have gone there. I'm sure there's great stuff there, but it was the only place I saw vandalism, etc.
