I don’t know if he gets into politics at all, but Gene Simmons strikes me as a surprisingly conservative guy. Very pro-America, pro-military and pro-personal responsibility. Probably a James Woods libertarian.

A local radio talk show (Rick and Bubba) has a semi-regular contest called ‘Is it Gene or Dave?’ where they state quotes regarding financial/personal responsibility and then have callers guess (three right ones in a row is a victory) whether the person being quoted is Dave Ramsey or Gene Simmons.
It’s surprising how often people get the quotes wrong.
