Here is video of Air America's Ana Marie Cox on CNN talking about Fox News and their coverage of ACORN and Jennings.
Ana Marie said "the ACORN story they covered during the campaign was not really a story...there were not people being signed up to vote for Obama." She went on to say "I have to say something about this Jennings story, because I think it's really offensive, they're persecuting someone because he's gay." (Video)

Thank goodness the world isn’t as in love with Ms. Cox as she is herself. I remember her making the stupid statement at the Milblogs that “She was from the main stream media and she was there to help”.
She won’t get anywhere whining on Air america or CNN. Those two don’t have much of an audience. Those places that have CNN on, doctor’s offices, airports, etc, always have the volume turned down and have closed captioning turned on. The problem with that is, many people who live in this country can’t read. Many more can’t read English.
I don’t care that he’s gay. I care that the safe schools czar is OK with child molesting.
Of course it is. It's the only defensive move they have - attack the other side with accusations and rhetoric. The best response is to hit back and put them back on their heels. For too long Republicans, conservatives, moderates, and the right have allowed the left to define the debate with dismissive and accusatory slogans (e.g. racism, fundamentalists, gun lovers, anti-gay, greedy, etc.). This must stop.
It has nothing to do with him being gay. I mean the guy is on the record praising a leader of NAMBLA. NAMBLA!!! If thre’s one group that I’d think evryone regardless of their politics would condemn, it’s NAMBLA. I’d say they’re maybe a smidge below Al Qaeda as far as worst group.
The fact that Obama is ok with this guy tells you all you need to know about him.
Even Bill Clinton would likely have fired him on the spot.

Homosexuality and pedophilia often go hand in hand. Sure, it’s not every homosexual’s “thing” to have sex with little boys; but hey, who are we to question someone else’s “thing”.
