Why is Barack Obama appeasing mass murderers in Sudan?

If anyone still naively believes the Obama administration attaches much importance to human rights on the world stage, they should take a look at its new policy towards Sudan. As the Associated Press reports, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have launched a new strategy of engagement with the barbaric regime of Omar Hassan al-Bashir, already responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Darfur. As Obama puts it:

“If the government of Sudan acts to improve the situation on the ground and to advance peace, there will be incentives. If it does not, then there will be increased pressure imposed by the United States and the international community. As the United States and our international partners meet our responsibility to act, the government of Sudan must meet its responsibilities to take concrete steps in a new direction.”
The White House and State Department have followed the advice of Obama’s hugely controversial special envoy to Sudan, retired Air Force Major General J. Scott Gration, who has pushed hard for Washington to shift its hard-line stance towards Khartoum. In Gration’s ludicrous words:
“We’ve got to think about giving out cookies. Kids, countries — they react to gold stars, smiley faces, handshakes, agreements, talk, engagement.”
There is a name for this sort of dangerous and immoral strategy – the appeasement of evil. It is impossible to see how a brutal tyranny responsible for a massive act of genocide is going to “advance peace”.

Once again the Obama administration has extended the hand of friendship to a dictatorship with blood on its hands. The ‘bama’s people are also great fans of Chairman Mao who is credited with the demise of 70 million Chinese. This administration has no problem with mass murder, torture or genocide, as demonstrated by its adulation of Chavez, Mao, Castro and Islamic terrorists; they’re just selective about who’s pulling the trigger.

"In declining states the leadership intuitively choses the most harmful course of action." -A Great Historian 1888

Each act or omission by this administration must be weighed against the aforementioned judgement. The members of this administration are by definition bungled, defective beings.
