The Conservative movement today consists of individuals with various personal beliefs (both religious and ideological), but conservatism in general sadly rejects outright the absolute authority of the Bible, the Holy Word of Almighty God. It is a bestselling book widely reverenced, but too many Conservatives reject its Divine authority and preeminence. These Subjective Conservatives cannot see out of this box called time, and thus they are oblivious to the realities of Holy Scripture truth. This includes the coming establishment of the literal Kingdom of Almighty God on earth, as well as their own eternity destiny (John 3:3-5; Romans 8:5-8; 1 Cor. 2:12-14; Jude 1:19).

“but conservatism in general sadly rejects outright the absolute authority of the Bible”
Well....you got the ignorant part right.
Judge righteously.. By God’s standards not mine
That is apparent to anyone but you it seems..
That to me seems ...ignorant
There are also some Bible-believing, pro-family, pro-life Christians who, once they get into the voting booth, pull the lever for more government cheese. Every time.
I suspect that the latter outnumber the former ten to one, but oddly enough the Christian conservatives here on FR seem to be much more upset about the first group.
You -have- to be a Gorey fan with that screen name. Nice!
I am a Christian but I do NOT hold that to be a conservative, one must even accept Jesus Christ as ones Lord and Savior. That is completely ridiculous and flies in the face of our religious freedoms in this nation.
To believe otherwise is “ignorant” and possibly dictatorial.
