Beaut!!
I was never that familiar with how much of a .32 history there was out there, till recently.
You always hear folks say that for home defense, you need a 9mm or bigger, but I still think you hit somebody even once with a smaller caliber, they’re gonna notice! Hit them twice and odds are they’re out for the count.
I have a .22 mag stainless revolver that I keep close, the sucker will fit in the palm of your hand no problem.

Well, I’d call it 95% with the caveat that the right side has some freckling. That takes its value down a bit, but it’s still a nice piece.

The .32 ACP cartridge has been around since 1899, and there are a
lot of cool guns chambered for it. In the early to mid 20th Century it was considered an adequate self-defense load in Europe, but here in the States it's pretty much strictly a pocket pistol cartridge.
While I keep a .45 loaded for home defense, I don't scoff at smaller cartridges, especially when loaded with modern hollowpoints. Shot placement is far more important than using the most powerful gun you can handle.

That jibes with pretty much everything I've read. I'm not worried about an inspection, I'll just hand them my book and be polite.
Granted, if I had my druthers there wouldn't be any need for a C&R license in the first place...before the 1968 gun control act anyone could get guns by mail order without the need for a special license. Still, the requirements aren't exactly onerous; I can't think of a single first world country that has as much freedom in regards to firearms as the USA.

Congrats! Is it a boy or a girl? ( girl would be if your wife takes it for her own)

That is really in exceptional condition. I’d like to find a decent waffen-ampted Mauser HSc.

It must be a boy, as are all my “children” (since I’m single).

Id like to find a decent waffen-ampted Mauser HSc. I picked one up not too long ago; it's getting harder and harder to find really nice WW2 and older military guns.
