that pretty well covers it
thanks
Rush has never concealed the fact that he is a partisan Republican.
Too bad they don’t listen to the philosophy he espouses since he seems to feel a strange sense of loyalty to them.
That’s a conflict though.
The problem was GWB was losing popularity on Iraq in 2004 and passing No Child and Medicare Drugs bought off critical voters for that election. Unfortunately they didnt stay long. Rush, Hannity and Levin all thought it critical Bush won 2004. That creates a conflict. After re-election they felt more freedom to go after him.
There is also the unresolved assumption that Bush could fight two wars, Iraq reconstruction (as well as the above buyoffs) and hold broad based tax cuts (meaning ours) and that this would have a happy ending with the economy. To this day they never looked back and corrected themselves on this.
This was done ala ‘Federal Reserve’; not economic growth as they claimed. This is my biggest problem.
My worst fear is that a significant number of conservatives today are content to settle for charisma and populism rather than solid substance and principle.Substance, principle, and Constitutional scrupulosity. Yours is not an unfounded or unaffirmed fear, alas.
While we're at it, I should have done with all this "common sense" nonsense. I'd be more impressed with those who show themselves to have uncommon sense, which we need badly enough if we're to begin the long-overdue business of full restoration of freedom, of individual rights and sovereignty, and of properly-construed government, all of which mean the irrevocable dismantling of the improperly-consecrated State under which we now exist.
kick em in the nads...lololol...
(cue Elvis voice) “thank you very much, thank you very much” lol
Just saw your question regarding Harkin. I rarely bother with him as I know it is a lost cause. He’s an embarassment. I apologize to the rest of the country.
It’s certainly not you fault.
The problem is that some FReepers have 2 or 3 Harkin’s to deal with.
I know exactly what you’re saying. Sometimes I feel guilty about not doing my part but I don’t have to tell Congressman King and Senator Grassley anything. I know they’re going to do the right thing and Harkin is a lost cause.
“But most don't want to endure the abuse and bullying that exists “out there.”There are some pretty unethical people roaming around who live to attack President Bush and anyone who supports him (again.....LOTS of us).Not one of them is worthy to tie his shoes. Not one. “

Any idea who she means? She is not telling them about the 'happy finish' quote by her student Bush-bot Chun.
Probably one of us.
Unfortunately, I can't ping her to tell her I'm talking about her because she ran to the Mods to tattle on me.
All of us! The mean gang. If she worships Bush outside of a dose thread I will be sure to add a comment myself.
When will Bush-bots catch on? Here is my response to someone still holding on to Bush WMDs(who seems like a nice freeper):

Im moving on to greener pastures, I'll be lurkin, but aint wastin time with the trolls ifn I dont hafta...
I wasn’t suggest that any of us respond, didn’t even mention a name, neither did she(so we really cant complain) , just fun to read the complaining.
“Unfortunately, I can’t ping her to tell her I’m talking about her because she ran to the Mods to tattle on me. “
That is not unfortunate, that is bliss!
She ruins every thread she invades.
Did you read some of the other posts? These people are not living in the real world.
