My Daughter's Letter to President Obama

I wanted to post my daughter's letter to President Obama. (6th grade) Her teacher asked the class to each write their own letter. Apparently her teacher thinks that "free health care" is important. I told my daughter that there was no such thing as "free" and that we pay for it with taxes. This was a bit of a shock to her. Here is the letter to the president after that explanation. Thought that FReepers might enjoy it :)

Dear, President Barrack Obama,
I think you have great taste in teams because you like the White Sox and so do I. I like them because my father is from Chicago but I am from Sherman Oaks, California. I am a 6th grader at ********** academy. It’s a great school.

I have a few ideas for you. Lowering Health Care prices, because I have a really big family and it’s very hard to pay for much of anything and if you cant lower Health Care then what about lowering taxes, if you lower taxes then people could have more money to buy Health Care.

Hey I’ve started to see this with my teachers through the years, starting small was the key then now its all about how many times they can shove it down our throats in a week. case-in-point my 9th grade Civics teacher saying (about the stimulus hen I dared to question the “great one”,”there are no earmarks in the bill Sam it will only help the country” better yet when the big BO said that America invented the automobile I called him out on it where I was laughed at until I delivered concrete evidence. Next example is my current English 10 teacher she has given not only examples of how to write from the Big BO but from BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE by Micheal Moore. finally she throws her beurocratic crap in our face as evidencd mby my grade.

Thank you for you letter and endorsement of our Alinskycare government medical control program. Your name has been added to a list of scientists who endorse man-made global warming, as well as the list of physicians who support Alinskycare.

We are in fact reducing taxes on everyone in America by reducing the number of private sector jobs, and the amount those jobs will pay. In this way, my administration is saving or creating trillions of dollars which would otherwise be collected as the result of greedy corporate and capitalist exploitation.

Yes, it’s amazing just how ignorant skool teechers are in general about all aspects of civics, history, and law, until you realize that they are cut out from the 50th percentile and below academically.

In high school, they were the ones that struggled to get Cs and Ds. Their only hope is the free lunch, so anything you say that might threaten it puts them in panic mode.
