I’m willing to suggest that she is being a bit clever, as well as loyal.
McCain will have to behave himself for nine months or Palin could pull the endorsement. We also don’t know what might have been said behind the scenes. The McCain statements about health care in the article can be taken a bunch of different ways. Most likely, he was trying to leave himself maximum wiggle room in all directions. With Palin on board, he has to be careful how he wiggles.
Given McCain’s track record and positions, what on earth do you think would make Palin pull her endorsement of him, if what he actually is NOW, won’t? It’s hardly a threat.
first of all, no he doesn't... he doesn't care... but even if he did "behave" for nine months because of Palin, doesn't bother you? you are essentially saying that he has to behave until he wins re-election... and then once he's won, he can go back to his same ol' ways... and we know his ways... how can you be okay with that?
“...Most likely, he (McCain) was trying to leave himself maximum wiggle room in all directions. With Palin on board, he has to be careful how he wiggles.”
Ha! Ha! Isn’t that the truth! About all Rino’s...good call.
I hope you are right, but I don’t honestly think he can be controlled by ANYONE, after all, we are talking about John “Maverick” McCain here - He does whatever HE believes is the right thing, whenever he believes it : | I REALLY wish Sarah had waited until after the primary.
Tatt, who is sadly remembering the bailout/stimulus fiasco, talking to his campaign staff, asking why in the HECK he was backing it, because it made NO sense. And THEY did not know why : /
