UNIVERSAL CIVILIAN SERVICE
1/31/10 | deputytess

Posted on 01/31/2010 3:19:26 PM PST by deputytess

I just finished reading THE PLAN and found the part about Universal Civilian Service very interesting. As a military verteran I know the average recruit goes through two months 0f training. In their book Emanuel and Reed stated Universal Civilian Service recruits will train for three months. My question is what is the extra month for? Anyone care to speculate?

The extra month is for ‘getting their minds right’.

Let us just hope that this does not get funded before November 2.

Something very Orwellian about the whole concept. Or for those of us who believe in the literal interpretation of end times Bible prophecy, something very end of days about it. Either way we all should find it disturbing.

What’s the extra month for? You should be asking why the hell are we being conscripted into forced voluntary service?

Yep. It takes a bit longer to bring people to the point where they're willing to turn-in their loved ones for being "resistant to change" (Anti-Marxist).

Of course. Now they have started signing up kids for the OFA in High Schools. The VRWC needs to follow their lead.

The day that forced servitude to a central authority is attempted - against the very spirit and letter of the Constitution - is the day that massive civil gunplay ensues. A great many free men still understand why they are free.

This post reminds me of something I need to do this year... Does anyone know what the best hand gun is? In terms of price, accuracy, ammunition availability, etc? Sig Sauer 9mm? Glock 9mm? Anyone care to recommend?.. Reply privately if you wish. Thanks.

Well eight to twelve weeks of basic training in the Army or Marines covers a lot of ground.

In that eight to twelve weeks, verything from military history, customs and courtesies, UCMJ, hand to hand combat, rifle shooting, basic combat tactics, a LOT of physical training, and a lot more is very well covered...

They must be planning on doing a whole lot of indoctrination and identifying those who won't be programmed...

Civil service sounds like a good idea at first thought but it will be NOTHING like military service.

Will this be modeled on Germany's Hitlerjugend or Cuba's Venceremos Brigades?

There is the little matter of the 13th amendment forbidding involutary servitude, but the Democrats only care about the Constitution when they want to accuse the Republicans of violating it. The Democrats think they can require everyone to purchase health insurance in return for the privilege of breathing (the air must belong to the government), and now they want to force everyone to engage in "public service."

46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale, transportation, and transfer of all non-sporting firearms. A thirty (30) day amnesty period is permitted for these firearms to be turned over the local authorities. At the end of this period, a number of citizen groups refuse to turn over their firearms.

Consider the following statement:

I would fire upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by the U.S. government.

          ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( )

Maybe it's a runaround to something like this !

I realized a while back that my grand kids would not grow up in the America that I did. So, so much is lost. But they will never serve in any capacity to the government. They are being taught to be self sufficient...and they are really pretty good at it at their young age.

If you’re a novice start with revovler to master the fundamentals, preferably a .357 so you can use .38 Special too, if more advanced I always suggest the Glock (fight-ready out of the box, easy to maintain/operate among other reasons)

I’d prefer .40 or .45 but 9mm is cheaper, hits with something light count, misses with the big stuff don’t.
Thats my two cents, anyway
