President Barack Obama has been announced as the Commencement speaker for the spring graduation at my alma mater, the University of Michigan. President Obama will receive an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree.

Well at least he’ll finally get one...a law degree, that is, or at least one we’ll know about.
Wonder if duct tape around the windows will keep the stench at bay. I’m about 30 miles from Ann Anal.
Maybe he’ll talk about how all of the grads at the commencement must leave Michigan if they are to even have the hope for a career. Also, I believe there was misspelling in the article: that should read Dishonorary Degree.
For the guy who wouldn’t know a law if it hit him between the eyes.

President Barack Obama has been announced as the Commencement speaker for the spring graduation at my alma mater, the University of Michigan. President Obama will receive an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree.
Now, those who read my blog know I am no big fan of Obama’s. That said, I am always proud to hear that the President is coming to my University.
No matter my disagreements, of which there are many, Mr. Obama is still our President, and should be treated as such. The office is larger than the man.
I have seen liberals ill treat past Presidents visiting the University of Michigan. I remember terrible treatment by the student body when President George H.W. Bush came to campus for commencement. It was an embarrassment.
I know that conservatives on campus (the few that there are) are quite angry about this. I say put aside your anger. The office of the President is more important than any anger at one man. You can show your objections, but do it quietly and honorably. Notre Dame had a more disruptive protest early last year because of Obama’s pro-abortion stance. Understandable, no doubt, but it achieved nothing.
I think conservative members of the U-M student body can and will do better.
OMG......look what he did to Notre Dame. We’re going to go 2 and 10 next year...........
Obama will dishonor the Big Ten at a U of M commencement. That is not good for recruiting. Certainly it is no honor to have him teleprompt there.
It’s appropriate on the campus of a university known for racist selectivity in admissions (iow, U of M discriminates against white students). Thanks Neoavatara.

Tea Party anyone? May 1 is almost spring in Michigan so the weather should be nice!
Mary Sue Coleman, the ultraleft U of M president who invited "Osama" Obama, should be fired for flouting the SCOTUS ruling to the effect the undergrad admissions system violates the "equal protection" clause of the 14th Amendment. She and the 'Rat-dominated U of M Regents have done nothing at all to modify the unconstitutional racial preference admissions procedure to bring it into line with the US Constitution and state law.
Wonder what Ann Coulter, who earned a real law degree from the U of M, has to say about that.
