NY Gov. Paterson's Race Track Deal Gets Sleazier, Is a "Perp Walk" in His Future

While most of the rumors about NY Governor Paterson have involved his actions in the boudoir his real problem involve the real action, the horse track. He is being investigated for the awarding of a state contract for video lottery machines at the Aqueduct Race track. Some Paterson aides have signaled they may quit over what some call his "corrupt decision" to give the lucrative Aqueduct gaming contract to a questionable consortium that includes the Rev. Floyd Flake of Queens, whose political support the poll-challenged governor has aggressively sought.

Further review of the bid by Rev. Flake's group (Aqueduct Entertainment Group or AEG) shows it to be seriously flawed in its financing:

Sure. Obama has the goods on him. He went against the Obama adgenda and will be made an example. Do not forget they have all the FBI files. They are also able to keep the Republican Collaborators in line with the dirt.

Well, considering the guy who wants his job is NYS Attorney General, I wouldn’t bet against it, whether he is guilty of anything or not.

I knew he was in trouble last week when he started playing the race card again.
All NY Governors have raped the state coffers for years.

Is it any wonder that NY has such high taxes and is still bankrupt?

The state once an original colony, proud and forthright in it’s dealings has become nothing but a consortium for liberal socialists like Clinton, Schummer, Gillibrand and Patterson.

New York needs to have a major turn out in the 2010 - 2012 elections and start from scratch.

Patterson will leave by vote, hand cuffs, never gonna happen, he will have someone fall on their sword first.
