My wife and I visited the Austin area a few years back, sort of reconnoitering, trying to decide where we might want to live after retirement. If we chose Texas it will certainly be Austin ... great town in spite of the libs.
There are some great conservative areas around Austin like Round Rock, Georgetown, Dripping Springs. It’s mostly downtown that’s lib.
