The UN's endorsement of ObamaCare will backfire spectacularly

It is hard to think of a more embarrassing endorsement of President Obama’s health care reform bill than that offered this week by the United Nations. The UN, probably the most corrupt and ineffective multilateral body on the face of the earth, which devotes much of its time trying to undermine American global power, has officially given its blessing to Barack Obama’s hugely controversial and unpopular legislation. The United Nations is increasingly disliked in the eyes of the American public, and continues to empower some of the most odious anti- American tyrannies across the world.

World Health Organisation Director Margaret Chan is quoted by Reuters as saying yesterday:

“The people in this country and their leaders are courageous. That (healthcare reform) is an unprecedented achievement,”

Chan made her remarks after giving a lecture at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, where she issued a rallying cry for greater government intervention in the provision of health care. Here’s a key excerpt from her speech:

Decades of experience tell us that this world will not become a fair place for health all by itself. Health systems will not automatically gravitate towards greater equity or naturally evolve towards universal coverage.

Economic decisions within a country will not automatically protect the poor or promote their health…. market forces, all by themselves, will not solve social problems, and this is why public health needs to be concerned.

Chan’s statements were highly political, and represented a blatant attempt by the UN to interfere in the domestic US political debate over health care reform. Not for the first time, the United Nations has tried to insert itself into American political affairs at a critical juncture.

UN bureaucrats sitting in Turtle Bay might think it’s clever to lecture the American people about what kind

Just when I thought I couldn’t possibly hate the UN any more than I already did...

That would be the very same UN-WHO that continued the ban on DDT and resulted in over 30 million deaths of African children under age five from malaria for another hoax. After near 30 years of trying to find a problem with DDT, WHO allowed it’s use in 2006, but didn’t tell anyone.

The UN is the laughing stock of the world, never found a hoax they didn’t try and push — or people they didn’t allow to be killed, or dictators boots they spend most of their time licking.

UN bureaucrats sitting in Turtle Bay might think it’s clever to lecture the American people about what kind of health care they should have, but it is a tactic that will heavily backfire when US voters go to the polls this November.

Yep, which is why I'm hoping for endorsements from Castro, Chavez, and Kim Jong Il as well. I think Obama just might be concerned about such endorsements, and hopes to avoid them with preemptive strikes.

Still remember the Food for Oil scam with Iraq? Anyone remember how many resolutions it took and Saddam just laughed at these fools? I hate these bastards. The day America kicks out the Un building will be a great day for America.

Don’t forget how previously normal villages mysteriously become giant brothels full of 12 year old prostitutes when UN Peacekeepers move in.

OH - really? Actually, the author does not understand (or is redirecting your attention) from the United Nations "Millennium Development Goals."

For the most part, Americans are conditioned to only listen to what mass media tells us. With a show of hands, how many know about the United Nations "Millennium Development Goals?"

When was the last time that Glenn Beck, Rush, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, Obama, Pelosi or Newt brought up the subject of the United Nations "Millennium Development Goals?"

I'm glad that World Health Organization Director Margaret Chan spoke of it - don't be mislead - she is letting the cat out of the bag...our government is doing exactly what they are suppose to be doing.

Chan’s statements were highly political, and represented a blatant attempt by the UN to interfere in the domestic US political debate over health care reform. Not for the first time, the United Nations has tried to insert itself into American political affairs at a critical juncture.

BOTTOM LINE: This story is redirecting your attention away from the truth. Interfering with domestic US politics is the name of their game. Research the UN's goals for the world.

It is a nice thought, but the UN is not going anywhere; America is the host, and becoming completely subservient to the UN parasite.
