Was that speech not in front of a government building in a *public* setting?

You want a private party, do it on private land.

It was still a private gathering even if it was in a public setting. Don’t those who were sponsoring and attending the gathering also have the ‘free speech’ right to shout him down as well? If you make it a free speech issue, then you have to acknowledge it is a two way road- you may hve the free speech right to say something stupid but that means I also have the free speech right to call you stupid.
