Do we need any more confirmation that the RNC as an idea is dead?

Looks as if I will be voting for Tim Cahill since the other “choices” are Duval the Devil and Baker the Devil’s Henchman.

This is Massachusetts — anyone that cannot figure that out maybe should think about not commenting. Comparing New England period along with New York for Republicans to the rest of our states is short sighted.

Let’s face it, the Taxachusetts “Republicans” are going to get their clocks cleaned by running these pro-leftist candidates. I mean, why would the people of Massacusetts vote for these RINOs when they can vote for the Dims and get the real thing (i.e., lefty)? If they wasnt lefties, they need look no further than the Dims.

What does this nomination mean? Don’t know how Mass works. Can the voters trump this in a primary?

It's always foolish to compare candidates with other candidates in other places. The right thing to do is to compare them to a set of core moral American principles, the ones which should never be compromised.
The GOP doesn't fare to well in that comparison.

An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide. The same can be said for political parties.

This is exactly the sort of thing that will push Tea Party people into forming a third party - and Obama WINNING in 2012.
God help us.

Th only thing this proves is that conservatives and even meds didn’t bother to attend the convention.

Exactly. There has to be a third choice between RINOs and idiot third partyists.
Oh wait, there is. It's called "conservatives stepping up to the plate and actually working to take the GOP back for conservatism."
My observation is that conservatives like to make a lot of noise, but then do nothing when they're asked to actually step forward and give of their time, etc. to help the cause. THIS is why there are so many RINOs in the GOP leadership - conservatives sat on their thumbs and let them get there. That needs to stop. Now.
