Delay Will Cause Major Environmental Damage, Administration Engaged in Their Own Damage Control
In a calculated political gamble designed to ensure maximum advantage of a crisis, Barack Obama ensured the worst environmental disaster on US territory since the Exxon Valdez. When the TransOcean rig caught fire on 20 April and exploded three hours later, the Obama Administration should have been in response mode. Instead, it wasn’t until 30 April that anyone arrived in Southern Louisiana and then it was only because the political gamble threatened a lot more coastline than originally thought. The second phase of the political gamble has already begun, ABC News devoted a whole four pages to the story ripe with brow furrowed concern and the beginnings of the blame game. But no where in the four page story does it mention the reason for the week delay in responding. By failing to respond in a timely manner, Barack Obama has ensured the worst environmental disaster in the lower 48 since “Webster” first aired on TV.

While claiming to work for energy reform, O will do everything possible to increase our dependence on OPEC.
His idea of “sustainable” is to tax you and stop you from developing any energy sources of your own.
You want to build a solar farm? Great. That will replace coal and natural gas, in which we are already independent, and you’ll buy your panels from China. It won’t reduce your use of OPEC oil by even a thimbleful.

Typical Democrat operating mode, even illustrated during Katrina. GWB begged then Governor Kathleen Blanco to permit sending troops and other assets to aid in the evacuation. By law, it has to be with the state’s governor’s permission or request (If Bush did otherwise, the insane left would scream “See?! Bush is using this for a military takeover!”). Blanco did not want to be seen taking emergency aid from the “Evil Bush”, and of course the Democrat machine turns it around and claims that “Bush did nothing cuz he hates blacks”.
Anyone with Merchant Marine experience knows that the supply boats sank the rig with their water cannons. Water can not put out that type fire. They filled it up and sank it. It would of sat there and burned until they could control it. In an enclosed space the steam from water could put out an oil fire. The key is not to put too much water just enough to create steam and not sin the ship. Dump ass paniced supply boat Captains blew it.
Really? Earlier today I was watching CNN, and they proceeded to cover some English runner for about 45 minutes during lunchtime today. not one mention of the rig, the spill, or Obama’s response, but I did learn about an English jogger...
As far as Obama’s behavior goes, I wouldn’t expect anything less form this arrogant jerk. Pretty soon, it’s gonna be Obama’s Black Gulf. Should be awesome.

Was there an opportunity for reparations to some minority, Muslim outreach, Union reward, or income redistribution? Were there any babies to be aborted, jobs killed, or carbon emissions to be taxed?
What about the New Black Panthers...did they need protection from grannies who wanted to vote Republican. Were there any terrorists who needed to be read their Miranda Rights?
If the answer to the above questions is "NO"...Obama saw no need for his attention!
