I would like to see the hazard survey that was done before the drilling started.


Not sure what that entails but I read some where that BP got the lease from Shell. Supposedly Shell let it go because of volitile subsurface pressures. I have no idea if that is speculation or has some truth to it.

A hazard survey consists of very high resolution seismic,
sidescan sonar and other techniques for the near surface.

The survey is a good indication from surface to bedrock.
