UK is history. Communism does not work. Guess they are going over the cliff. We need to detach fro the New world order or they will drag us with them. Black Monday.

It’s the Labour Party. The Liberal Democrat party only dates from 1988. The Liberal Party merged with the Social Democrat Party, which was founded in 1981 by defectors from the Labour Party who were unhappy with the pro-Communist line of that party.

This makes sense to me, a conservative/liberal coalition seems like an oxymoron. When you look at this politically, it would make sense that the left leaning Labor Party sides with the Progressive Liberal Party.

So far, a liberal democrat/labour combine would be short of majority, while a liberal democrat/conservative coalition would have majority. No decisions have been made as far as I can find out.

The Christian Husband Blog actually seems a bit given to hysteria. Are you sure this is an actual newssource??

David Cameron is the biggest fool.. - true I think he lost a lot of the conservative base when he lunged to the left - the conservative colours became green and blue instead of true blue and 'change' became the slogan.

My understanding is that the Liberal Democrats are leftists, just like Labour. So an alliance between them would make much more “sense” than a Conservative/Liberal Democrat one.

There’ll Always Be an England.

Until they commit suicide by socialism. RIP, England. You were a great country in your day.

Before the election, the head of the Bank of England said that the economic mess was so bad that whoever became the next Prime Minister and tried to deal with it would become so unpopular that his party would be out of business for a generation.
