Utah's Bob Bennett: I hear laughter in the rain!
The Radio Patriot ^ | May 10, 2010 | Andrea Shea King

Posted on 05/10/2010 7:51:38 AM PDT by patriotgal1787

Oooh, I hear laughter in the rain...

That song's been running through my head all day... Neil Sedaka

Ooooh, how I love the rainy days and the happy way I feel inside...

Bob Bennett is toast. The Utah delegates said so today, speaking on behalf of their fellow Utah citizens (would that be Utes?... )

He was in near tears at the shock, the SHOCK! of losing his "career". Ummm, bub, (Bob), that was never meant to be a "career".

This is the problem. These SOBs have been in there so long it is their freaking career. And it has been, because we've been too lazy and apathetic and complacent to make representing the people just that -- a temporary assignment. But it's all over now. Done. Oooh I hear laughter in the rain...

Bub Bennett says he might consider staying in the race as a write-in candidate, to which my radio show producer Dave said, "Good. Let's all mail him some pens..."

Ooooh, how I love the rainy days and the happy way I feel inside...

Buh Bye Bob Bub Bennett.

[caption id="attachment_5751" align="alignright" width="202" caption="Steve C. Wilson/Associated Press"][/caption]

He's just the first of many who will go. Ga-rahn-teed. Take a look at this. It's a pretty good assessment of where we're at in this election year.

SEN. ROBERT BENNETT DEFEATED BY TEA PARTIERS. Utah Tea Party activist David Kirkham writes:

The hall exploded on the announcement Bennett was defeated. I’m sure you’ll see the Utah Tea Party on the news. We went nuts.

I am so exhausted I can’t speak. I’ve lost my voice. We emailed each other all night–no one could sleep all night. On to round 3 between Bridgewater and Lee. The result between them is not important now. Both are great men. Our work in this race is done.

Glenn, please tell all Tea Partiers if they’ll just stand up they CAN really make a difference. Thank you for all you have done. Utah now passes the Tea Party baton to the rest of the nation–use it to beat the RINOS out of office at the ballot box!

First time in weeks -- since Bart Stupak said sayonara -- that I've felt this good...

Smitty at The Other McCain has a good analysis on it, well worth clicking to it.

Oooh how I love the rainy days and the happy way I feel inside... I feel a shiver run up my spine...I'm feelin' happy inside...

BENNETT LOSS WAS WARNING TO GOP RINOS? Since when?

Don'tcha read the MSM?

We're Republicans. We got No Plan. No Program. No Leader. No Clue. Not Sure about what we're going to do.

Going nowhere.

===================================

Unlike those smart (gag) Dems who elected that man in the WH. Now there's a group with A Plan (/snix).

In addition to being apathetic and lazy about voting out “career” politicians, we have also been greedy. These guys bring home the bacon.

Paraphrasing the old joke that went “What do you call a sinking boat loaded with RINO politicians?”

“A good start”.

“This is a damn outrage,” a disgusted David Brooks, the faux conservative columnist for the NYT, declared on Sunday’s MTP as to Bennett’s loss at Utah’s Repub convention....

SO WHAT ELSE IS NEW? Pukeneo David Brooks is dumping on conservative activists...a-g-a-i-n. This is yet another chapter in the pukes religious cleansing of the Repub Party and kicking conservatives to the curb......if we don't salute smartly.

==================================================

Now if you detest Brooks, you will despise this media prostitute. Announcing the Winner of the 2008 Best Election Night Performance Award in the category of: "Neos Know Nothing About this 2008 Republican Disaster."

Billy Kristol (Fox pundit, pukeneo chieftain and McCain campaign mastermind)

"Thank you very much. But I could not have done it without the help of all the
punkeos--David Frum, Michael Gerson, David Brooks, Richard Perle.....and
my Dearest departed Daddy."

"Sniffle---my Dearest Daddy (who was Giuliani's foreign policy advisor) said,
"The historical task and political purpose of neoconservatism is.....to convert the
Republican Party and American conservatism in general, against their
respective wills,
into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to
governing a modern democracy."

"Sob."

"I especially want to thank punkneo Douglas Feith for faking documents on his
home computer so we punkneos could dupe our lapdog, President Bush."

"Without Doug we would not have been able to transfer trillions of US dollars
into the Mideast, into the pockets of war profiteers, which enabled Richard Perle
to startup an oil business in Iraq with his cut."

Kristol smirked: "Making Iraq safe for Perle's oil business with US tax dollars was truly a noble punkneo effort."

==============================================

AS FREEPER TADSLOS COGENTLY POSTED: "People forget that candy-a** Kristol, and his crony, metro-sexual David Brooks, are the original makeover artists for McCain post-2000. They are McC's original groomers and media switch operators.....obsessed with religious cleansing of the party. Kristol at his most smirkiest---urging McCain to fire his 2008 staff, to start all over at the 11th hour, as McC's numbers tanked. Shows how how ill-conceived, advised, equipped and poorly managed McC's campaign was. But then, what else to expect from a Republican candidate made up of neopunks Kristol and Brooks."

Watching Kristol smirking and squirming in his Fox seat election night as McC lost was a consolation prize to this abortion of a losing 2008 election cycle.

===========================================

COMMENTS The 2008 political entrail readings showed the crucial conservative base stayed home. Too bad the pukes "forget" to tell McC that would be one outcome of the punkneo-RINO bi-partisanship.

Be aware Americans, that many senior neocons are rank opportunists who squatted in the Repub Party for stealth purposes-----they are actually former Trotskyites that flew the coop when Stalin executed their hero.

The pinkneos blow whichever way the Beltway Winds are blowing-----spewing their elitist Endless War thingy, co-opting whoever's in power. Obama’s sex life is really improving as the pukeneos line up under the Oval Office desk. Rahm is installing a Take-A-Number machine to control the neo traffic. Here's hoping Obama's got the stamina for all the lewinskys coming his way (/snix).

=============================================

BTW, there is a reward out for anyone who can determine what the pukes actually does for a living. None of the pukeneos have any visible means of support, unless you count:(1) media prostitution, (2) infiltratng the US government, (3) endless think-tank pontificating on how nice it is to have US troops invade foreign countries, (4) squatting in the Repub Party, hoping to destroy it from within, and, (5) kicking so/con Repubs to the curb.

George Will: "But the fact is, he’s going against terrific head-winds this year and he cast three votes: TARP, stimulus and an individual mandate for health care."

I guess Bennet thought it was a "center-left" country for just a second there. Glad to see Brooks pop a vein. Hope he enjoys many more.

And Bennett ran for the first time promising he’d be self-term-limiting, wouldn’t serve more than 2 terms. He was running for his 4th term.

Thanks for playing, Bob - your turn’s over.

We need term limits and telecommute for congressmen. Without the Washington perks, the “career” won’t be so attractive.

The major reason that congresscritters want to stay term after term is that the job is too lucrative financially and requires little personal effort.

How would you like to vote yourself a payraise and perks that “the common folks” do not get to share? Pretty snazzy position, huh?

It is time these professional trough feeders find out who sends them to Washington, we do not send them to be lap dogs for some temporary resident of the White House, we send them there to look our for our interests. When they forget that they are ripe to be replaced. Scat Bennett
