Yesterday, former Air Force and CIA veteran Gary Berntsen announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate to unseat Charles "Chucky" Schumer. He spoke with Freedom Radio last night; here is the audio.
Gary Berntsen for U.S. Senate ping!
ping!
Me too! God Bless HIm For Running! God Bless His Son. I just donated to his campaign.
Can I add you to my show ping list?
Here is a New York ping. I hope New York Freepers will take a real good look at Gary! He is the guy to send Chucky packing!
He’ll have my money and my vote!
If this guy can take Schumer’s seat, I’ll shine his shoes daily.
A GOPer has a tough road to victory in NY. After all, NY is a state where recent polls show Andy Cuomo leading all GOP challengers by 40 points. I’ll be rooting for Gary but I’m afraid Schumer isn’t going to lose, sad to say.

Thanks for the ping.
The main thing we need to do is run good conservative Republicans in every race. Make the Dems fight on all fronts. After the Mass loss of the "Kennedy" seat the Dems know they can take nothing for granted. The more resources they pour into defending formerly solid Dem territory the more seats we pick up nation wide.
“Ill be rooting for Gary but Im afraid Schumer isnt going to lose, sad to say.”
I am sure you are right about Gary having a rough fight ahead against Schumer. But it is really up to the voters in New York to make it happen and send Schumer packing!
We just had a win in HI that wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did! A Conservative is going to Congress from HI.
We just have to do everything we can to spread the word about the Constitutional Conservatives who are running in each state. It can make the difference!
“I will certainly contribute and campaign for him if he stands a chance.”
Trust me, if you and other New York voters spread the word about Gary Berntsen to everyone you know, he really WILL have a chance to win and send old Chuckey home! It is called the power of the people! We do have the power, but we just have to use it!
I concur with you - it is really up to the voters, and it is my hope and wish that even in liberal NY conservatives would win.
I couldn't have said it better! That is exactly what we need to do! It will be my goal to spread the word about all the great conservatives running. We can make the all the Socialist/DEMS spend and spend and STILL not win!
yes.
However, beware of Republicans as well, to quote a friend, who neglected to mention Will Breazeale of NC and Frank Ryan of PA. With the Republican elites, its not about country, its about power and retaining what they have.
After Congressman Rob Simmons, Col-USAR/CIA took on Senator Dodd, he expanded his lead in the polls by 13 %, Dodd dropped out of the his race for reelection. Linda McMahon of the World Wrestling Entertainment jumped into the race; she and her husband Vince McMahon offered to spend $50 million to run against Blumenthal, received the Republican Party support, and eventually obtained the Republican nomination; they and the Connecticut Republican Party ran right over Cong Rob Simmons. This morning, Rob dropped out of the race.
A similar injustice recently happened in Pennsylvania to Lt. Col. William Russell, USAR where a wealthy novice with deep pockets, who was 26% behind Lt. Col. Russell in the polls, got the Republican nomination and lost to the Democrat in the special election. It happened to Maj Quang Pham, USMC where he raised more funding than any candidate and was tagged as a Young Guns by the Republicans in congress, but the California Republican Party gave the nomination to an old time politician; has Maj Pham dropped out of the primary to prevent a bitter primary election where he may have won, but would have lost to Sanchez because of the loss of his campaign war chest. It happened Arkansas, its happening in VirginReia, etc..
We and many of you are expressing sadness at the turn of events in Connecticut, and we are extremely disappointment that the fifth endorsed Combat Veteran For Congress had the Republican Party turn its back on them and selected a candidate who will probably lose. Unfortunately, its all about wealthy novices who have the money to run for a Congressional seat, and their deep pockets eliminates the Republicans partys requirement to raise campaign funding.”
The words beginning with the 2nd paragraph should have been in quotes.
