Give Schumer a Race (US Senate - NY)
Political Blog ^ | May 30, 2010 | Raquel Okyay

In political circles, his name is dirt and his hand shake is weak, yes, you guessed it – U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, progressive Democrat from New York. Some like to refer to him as “Chucky” after the “antagonist” character in a series of horror films about “Chucky” the “killer doll.”

Sure, Schumer is a “killer” to the American dream of opportunity and options, and a “doll” for every special interest that shares his philosophy of “what can you do for me?” but even more sinister than that, the gross level of money and power involved in this instance places Schumer on the top of the list of the most corrupt of corrupt.

Recently hand-picked to be a “conferee” that decides how legislation is merged from Senate and House versions of banking reform, Schumer is apparently towing the line with one of his biggest financial backers – Wall Street – showing how influential financial contributions are and highlighting Schumer’s blatant conflict of interest. (A double- whammy!)

If Nevadans can push Reid out, why can’t New Yorkers push Schumer out too? He is completely corrupt. Exactly the Senator, who may be Majority Leader if the Democrats get their way in November, who the entire Nation should fight to remove from office.

1) The corrupt Democrat machine has been entrenched in New York for decades.

2) Schumer is black. To not elect him would be “racist”.

3) Have you seen the students New York is producing?

4) New York uses LOTS of government union labor - that always pulls liberal Democrat.

5) New York is no longer a state of producers - it’s now a state of moochers.

Make no mistake - I want him gone too. But it’s probably not going to happen.

1. Agree.
2. Schumer is Jewish and white.
3. Yes, I’m a proud Queens grad from St. John’s University.
4. Tea Party numbers over take organized union numbers.
5. Yes and No.

We have to do something!!

Dirty little secret:
Except for the handful that post on this site, there aren’t any conservatives left in this state.
See you at the Korrupt King Kuomo Jr. Koronation real soon...

3. Yes, I’m a proud Queens grad from St. John’s University.

I was thinking of that news report a couple of months ago stating that 90% of New York High School Students are completely unprepared for any form of college.

4. Tea Party numbers over take organized union numbers.

Yeah, and I'm told California is the most conservative state in the union. Don't let hybris blind you.

I agree we have to do something, but I don't think Schumer is going to lose. It's New York.

2. Schumer is Jewish and white.

Please. This is an insult to Jewish and White people. Arguably, an insult to the entire human race. I picture him more as an evil jellyfish.

I agree. Give him a race. People say some places are not winnable. Republicans have won state wide races in NY and with the right kind of campaign and candidate I don’t see why someone couldn’t win. It won’t be easy but Schumer and Gillibrand both have been knee deep in money from the financial sector especially Goldman Sachs.

“Make no mistake - I want him gone too. But it’s probably not going to happen.”

In July 1776 a few brave men gathered in Philadelphia stood up to the greatest empire on the face of the earth, betting their lives and property on the eventual outcome. The task they committed themselves to was much greater than the challenge of removing Chuck Schumer from his New York Senate seat in 2010.

I hope there are enough New Yorkers in this day who believe enough in liberty to defeat the tyrant representing them in the Senate. Are there men and women who are willing to devote their time, energy and fortune to winning? Unlike our founders who defied a king, the opponents of Schumer do not risk their lives in working to secure his defeat. Unfortunately, if politicians like Schumer are not opposed and defeated in this time and place, a day will soon come where opposing them will mean risking one’s life.

I guess I was lucky enough to attend parochial schools all my life, so my education is better than most. I worked 3 jobs to put my sons through private and Catholic schools, because I am fully aware of the injustice that’s done to students in public schools in New York. It’s a mess!

I would love for you guys to be right. I would love for this election to change everything 180 degrees in America.

But it’s probably not going to happen. Unseating Schumer is going to be HARD. He’s name recognition. He’s been in that seat forever. He has big friends, big money and big tricks up his sleeve.

Even if you do get rid of him, odds are he’ll be replaced by someone just as left wing as he is.

New York didn’t become a festering liberal Hell Hole overnight. It’s called the “Democrat Machine” for a reason.

But don’t worry, it’s not just New York. California (what I’m told is the most conservative state in the Union by some people around here) is going to spit out a bunch of RINOs for the Nov ballot.

Last numbers I saw had 100 seats in Congress “in play”. That’s less than a quarter of the seats up for grabs in the next election. It’s less than half of the people who voted for that Monster Healthcare law.
