I miss President Bush enormously. Every single day.
You cannot imagine what it's like to be sitting here in a combat zone and seeing pictures of Barack Obama at the top of my chain of command. On every wall in every building.
It comes down to a single word: leadership.
Setting aside all the tired old policy arguments I see recycled above, the reality is that Bush was a leader; Obama is not.
I didnt always agree with where Bush wanted to lead. But he led. Obama has never led anyone or anything to anywhere. I can forgive his misguided politics and policies; but I cannot forgive a leader who does not lead or even attempt to lead.
Even if I agree with every single thing Obama believes, he would be a failure of epic proportions because he fails to inspire. He fails to lead.
I miss George Bush so very much. I wish every day that I could see his picture up on that wall. For all his faults and mistakes, he never stopped trying to lead.
I love the guy.

You speak volumes, sir ... how I miss him !!

Pray for our awesome troops.
Here here.
George W rocks in my book!
“present” - the conviction of a con-man.
I miss him too! I never realized how much of a leader he was when he was called upon to lead. What we have now is not even a good follower, but someone who impedes everything positive.
That's all we can expect from the presIDent with no ID
The single biggest thing the troops desire is support from home. Top Down and Bottom Up. With it, your heart is full and you are energized about the mission.
Without.....well....just imagine.
If we are asking “why” over here, they are asking “WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY” over there.
True Leadership trumps all of that.
I miss him so much. I just can’t bear to watch tv when 0 is on. I know Laura has said that she felt the weight of responsibility lift when they left office. I myself did not fully appreciate that weight until it fell back on our shoulders because 0 is certainly not doing anything about it except make it worse.
**It comes down to a single word: leadership. **
I miss Bush too — we really have no leadership in our country right now.
My feelings and heartbreak, exactly.
Our enemies .. the savage beasts .. learned
and knew there would be (and was) horrendous
retribution for their evil, and for nearly 8
years we could sleep peacefully, knowing Pres.
Bush was relentless in protecting us.
He loves this country, and his #1 pursuit
was our protection .. in contrast to the
occupant. They feared what he’d do in
retaliation. All they respect is power, and
Pres. Bush never failed to make the price for
their actions abundantly known, loud and clear.
God bless him dearly.
Every day now is a question mark of anxiety,
dotted by the next inane, weak and appeasing
action from the pretender. His apathy and
weakness have obliterated their fear. They
smell it, because he radiates it every day
in every way.
Now there are medals for heroic restraint ..
IN WAR, fergodssake !
Please keep praying .. the gates of Hell have
been opened .. the spawns of the devil are walking
the earth .. and He is our only hope, for there
certainly isn’t any sanity of actions or love of
country at the core of the decisions at the top.
Sheer mercy from God, freaky luck and screwups
are the only reasons we’ve escaped attack .. NOT
allegiance to the oath or love of country and her
protection from the resident.

Not true. Obama has led conga line Wednesday night parties at the White House.
I miss Reagan.
Bush walked the walk............
:}
Probably led a few WH tours to fawning worshippers,
Chicago Swamp neighbors, and African relatives, too.
The plumber who was here on a service call last week has a son in the USAF and he was telling me how he and his mates just despise 0bama..they echo the same thing..this guy not only is not a leader, he is frighteningly dangerous..they think he is a commie.
