For those who feel press for time you might look over a kit I saw at Walmart (Times must be getting hard when even Walmart is getting ready!). You can look it over at:

Its made for three days for four people. I am not recomending it, but it does look like it covers the essentials and it would be a lot better than nothing!
I noticed it has a deck of cards. This is very good, because I heard that if you ever get lost, you can start playing Solitaire, and sure enough, someone will show up to tell you the red six goes on the black seven.....
