On Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski wants to "cut the crap" about Sarah Palin's 2012 presidential plans. According to Mika, it's a done deal she will run, and the press is letting itself be sucked into a phony build-up....

and Sarah won’t just run... she will win and take the country back to where it’s supposed to be
I think Sarah will run and if nothing else changes in the political environment she will win the nomination. If the choice is between a Republican that accepts the premises of Democrats and liberals and cares only about the constitution as if it is an old rag to be mentioned as a fond memory while they go along with plans to spend, spend, spend, and trample the rights of liberty, property rights, freedom of association, 2nd amendment rights, and equal justice under the law. If Mitt Romney is the only other major GOP contender Sarah will win. There is one Presidential candidate who has shown no reluctance to embrace the tea party revolution and that is Sarah Palin. Have you seen Mitt speaking glowingly of Tea Parties? The only other candidate that embraces Tea Parties as much as Sarah is Huckabee who I don’t think is running this time nor do I think he should. Conservatives should unite behind a standard bearer. Sarah can be that standard bearer, she needs to get her one on one sparring skills up to par and if she does she will be the GOP nominee.
I’ll never support Romney.

With you there. No Romney with his Massachusetts government health care debacle. He should be a fundraiser for the republican party (I’m not kidding he’d be good at it). As far as Mika Bryzinski’s crystal ball certainty . . . she doesn’t know anything the rest of us don’t know. Will Palin run? Probably. Hopefully. Maybe.
Regardless who runs I want a standard bearer who I can trust. Someone I can fight for without reservations or regret. It Mitt wants to help fund raise that is great but he has failed to do what he needs to do to prove that he is a man that embraces the spirit of the founding of this nation. Sarah has come a long way. She has the Press trained like a Pavlovian dog. They create stories that last for days over her facebook posts. Her biggest problem is that her credibility has been hurt by the constant attack and drum beat of the press. She can do a lot to improve that credibility by doing what she is doing. She should spend the rest of this year putting together clear policy positions. She should also spend time reading up on the founders and the likes of Thomas Paine. All the GOP would be better off if they really beefed up on the core values of conservatism.
Palin has one strength that will serve her well and that is the fact that she does not retreat from conservative values or positions when she is attacked. She has experienced some backlash in some quarters for endorsements that did not align well with what people believed her to be but overall I think Palin has by far the most potential of any candidate. Her biggest challenge will be to make sure she keeps control of her campaign and has people that are not just loyal to her but are also loyal to Conservatism.
If she starts speaking Washington speak she will disappoint and lose horribly. She needs to speak to the heart of the dysfunction of govt and inspire people with the faith and legacy of our forebears. The message she should push is “We are the son’s and daughters of liberty and we are here to reclaim our birthright”.

Sarah will win because she will have the support of real conservatives; real Americans, and John McCain won’t be around to tell her play politics as usual.
