Jose Manuel Borroso -the EU's most senior official and a liberal, socialist-statist himself- came down hard on the Obama Administration yesterday for completely botching relations with a continent that was taking turns licking his rear and handing him awards just a year ago:

Europes disappointment with Barack Obamas presidency is laid bare today as the EUs most senior figure calls for a dramatic effort to revive transatlantic relations. The President of the European Commission told The Times that the new era at the White House was in danger of becoming a missed opportunity for Europe.
José Manuel Barroso said that the EU-US relationship was not living up to its potential. The criticism follows a series of fundamental disagreements on how to deal with the economic crisis, climate change and trade reform...
Who could have seen this coming?
Don’t take your love away from me
Don’t you leave my heart in misery
If you go then I’ll be blue
‘Cause breaking up his hard to do
Remember when you held me tight
And you kissed me all through the night
Think of all that we’ve been through
Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
Neil Sedaka. I’m guessing a tragic encounter with the cross bar of a Schwinn bicyle?
Thing for me is Borroso is a HUGE Bush-hating socialist... he’s not a Merkel or Sarkozy, who of course can’t stand him either.
Since the dictators he’s kissed up to have spit in his outstretched hand, I guess we’ll have NO friends left by 2012... weakness only breeds contempt from both friend and foe
Well, the article says that’s what ROBERT GIBBS said... you consider that two-bit propagandist and servantile Obama bootlick a viable, credible source?
So, how is that Nobel peace prize working out that you guys handed Obama?
I don’t know if I understand your comment.
The link I posted shows how out of touch the obama administration is with regards to this topic.
