How many times do our thoughts to ourselves start with "I wish..." and of course, these wishes just don't come true? I'd say, if you're anywhere near human, rather than superhuman, that's a relatively common occurrance. But what DO you wish for?

That’s it? A paragraph?

Not really motivated to go to a blog just for the hits.

This reminds me of a video a while back of babies in an orphanage in China. They had extreme diaper rash from neglect, were tied into their chairs, and even when they were hit or fell over chair and all, they would not cry or respond. They had learned in 2 short years of life that nothing they did made any difference anyway.

This whole judicial idea that nobody has standing to do a darn thing about laws and Constitution trampled in full sight of everyone is conditioning us.

This whole thing of having felons illegally decide elections is conditioning us.

This whole thing of 27,000 blogs being single-handedly shut down by Joe Biden with no questions asked is conditioning us.

This whole thing of electing Scott Brown to maintain the power to filibuster, only to have the Senate break its rules at will anyway in full sight of a nation agape, to pass radical non-budget changes using reconciliation - while locks were changed to keep republicans from doing the job we’re paying them to do - is conditioning us.

The media that overlooks the documented racist policies of Eric Holder’s DOJ while still harping about spitting on lawmakers that has been documented as not having happened is conditioning us.

Our tax money being used to sue Arizona for actually trying to enforce the laws that the feds refuse to enforce - while we’ve got car bombs going off just across the border and druglords planning to bomb bridges to destroy Houston as payback to their rival druglords... is conditioning us.

The easiest thing in the world would be to give up. If we give up now there’s no turning back. Picture your family being blown up by that car bomb - because if you don’t fight the lawlessness in this country and the lawless thugs who are trying to tie our hands to our highchairs - now - then this is what is coming. It’s the hush before the storm. We know it’s coming but it’s not officially here yet. We still have the skeleton of America here.

We have a choice. We can either get angry enough to fight, or we can die. We can collectively say the denial of standing to the whole dang country is a bunch of bullsh!t and we’re not gonna swallow it. Or we can swallow it.

Well said, and we must remain resolved to oppose being deconditioned.

When we get apathetic or, frankly, ‘go Galt,” a phrase I am hearing ‘round here more and more, I am afraid the liberals have won.

I say we must continue to fight and engage the culture and vote and lobby even if we get tired or discouraged.

Did you write that? It’s awful. I don’t mean “awful” terrible. Just not what we should be focused on. But at the same time, it’s the current state of affairs. Me and a few others I know listen to Jack Spirko’s “Survival Podcast” at http://www.thesurvivalpodcast.com. We download them once a day. Give it a try. He might be wrong and the whole nation might disappear in a cloud of smoke tomorrow, but given that we’re stuck for the next “while” with what we have, it’s probably a good thing to focus on some better “stuff”. :-)

The “hits” don’t matter. No counters, no ads, no nothing. If you can’t click, how did you summon the power to post a whine?

Hoping folks will take the hint and just post what they have to post. If the hits don’t count, and you think it’s worth reading, then post it.

Why excerpt?

Why not post your content?

Some companies indeed use that approach: “if you’re not happy to be here, the door is thataway.”
