Despite environmental organizations remaining oddly mum on the BP oil spill, one environmentalist took it upon himself to conduct a flyover of the Gulf region to get a glimpse of what was really going on at the site of the accident.
Sea Shepherd CEO, Steve Roest, flies at an undisclosed altitude to examine the situation of Deepwater Horizon. The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is considered a radical environmentalist movement known for their blunt, direct tactics. The video is dated as July 6, 2010.
Watch as he narrates his account.

Actually, eyeblast ripped it off from youtube. Here is the original, without the blog.

Apparently, so-called eyeblast doesn’t produce or even host these videos it brags about. It links directly to youtube via a script (some kind of affinity program) so it gets the hits, and so does youtube.
Kinda sleezy.
Someone sent this video to us and asked us to upload it. I don’t know if you realize or not, but the same goes for Breitbart.tv. If people need help launching a video, we help them.
lol!
Thank you very much, I really appreciate the non-blog related link.
I actually heard on the radio this morning that Obama wants to pump the oil to the service for 3 days but not into ships but just let it continue to poor into the water but BP won’t agree, believe it or not I heard this on the news.
I actually heard on the radio this morning that Obama wants to pump the oil to the surface for 3 days but not into ships but just let it continue to poor into the water but BP won’t agree, believe it or not I heard this on the news.
LOL! Thanks for the howler, pimp.
I quite preferred the Blog link.
You guys are a trip.
Thanks for replying. If I’m wrong I’m happy to stand corrected.
I see on wikipedia that eyeblast is sponsored by Media Research Center, a good organization.
May I make a suggestion? Perhaps a few lines with each original post, explaining what eyeblast is, and that you actually host the video that either you acquired, or someone gave you. I know that would be redundant, but it would set you apart from the myriad bloggers who do nothing more than rip off others’ content and pretend they created it or hosted it.
And I appreciate that you hang around and comment. Again, if I misstated something, I’m willing to stand corrected.
See 13.
MOST blogger links are just ripoffs. This may be an exception to that rule (and once again, 99 percent of bloggers make the other one percent look bad).
Holy Moly! What the heck is with Obama...I am really glad BP would refuse to agree to that.
Shows just how politics is above all else even to the sanctimonious "environmental" groups.
Certainly it is not the way we've thought about the United States, where we've wanted to believe that journalism was about reporting the truth and letting the chips fall where they may.
What we're seeing presently in the U.S. we've thought could only happen in Big Brother Communist or Islamic nations.
I would think, given the numbers of them, that at some point the consciences of some of the journalists being counted on to ignore their Constitutional duty to serve as watch dogs for the public, and instead are providing cover/propaganda for the deliberate destruction of the United States as we've known it would force them to say "Enough!", and accept the professional and personal trashing they'd risk and for the sake of their country and their personal honor shine a light on the lies, distortions and secrets they've been feeding the public on behalf of this Administration in particular and Democrats in general.
There must be a few journalists who care about their children and grandchildren and are therefore having trouble sleeping at night over their role in destroying this nation.
BTW, Brietbart is awesome. I hope Eyeblast strives for those high standards.
As I intimated in an earlier post, its a shame that 99 percent of bloggers make the other one percent look bad.
I need the blogger version. Do you have a link to that?
After all, everyone knows the reason more environmentalists arent speaking out is simply because the point man in power happens to be a Democrat.
