Daria Novak is one of four candidates seeking the Republican nomination for the Connecticut 2nd congressional district.
The primary will be held August 10th. The winner will take on liberal Democrat incumbent Joe Courtney in November.
Daria Novak is a true patriot and conservative. A post at Redstate has this:

A former news anchor ,Janet Peckinpaugh, is one of the other three Republicans running in the same primary and a rival candidate of Dari Novak.
Peckinpaugh describes herself as fiscally conservative and socially moderate. In other words, she is running as a "rino".
On abortion she states she is pro-choice.
How can one be pro-choice about homicide?
Abortion-it's an American holocaust!
Her response to a question as to whether she supports partial birth abortion was "...it's something I have to study a little more".
Kind of like "it's above my paygrade".

I didn’t think the cartoon daria was a big feminist. I just thought she was a cynic. But I think I saw a grand total of 3 episodes.
Well, a barely watched one, and that is what I got out of it.
I guess it wasn’t representative.
It gave me the creeps.
