That brings up a good point that always sticks in my craw. I’m a mixed race person, but I’m mostly white and like look like a “typical white person” except with just a bit more color. Let’s say I want to apply for some affirmative action benefit and claim that I’m black. Obviously I would be turned down if I went in person to claim my benefit, but how do you really determine your “race”? There are black celebs that have skin that’s not drastically darker than mine. What about that black couple in the news recently who had a baby with white skin, blue eyes, and blond hair? How do you really prove your race? You can’t. It’s all based on how some bureaucrat judges you, arbitrarily. I think it demonstrates the utter stupidity of using the law to separate people by race. I could go on and on with this example, but I trust that people get my point.

Go ahead and apply. They have to prove that you are NOT. You don’t have to prove anything.
