Pete Stark: Not Allowing Illegals To Work Is Unconstitutional!
www.LibertyJuice.com ^ | August 4, 2010 | Brittany Pounders

Wha-wha-what?? I look at someone like Pete Stark and wonder how in the world did he make it in any career– and with utter bewilderment on how he has been elected over a dozen times to be the representation for his constituents! His arrogance has already been on display when he said at this very same townhall meeting that the government has the right to do whatever they want. But someone was saving this little jewel for a new day as he goes on to say that E-Verify and denying illegals the right to work would be unconstitutional. This was right after he didn’t seem to know what E-Verify was. And, then with utter contempt and disrespect for his own constituents, he scoffs and says with mockery, “Oh, I know you guys don’t like the Constitution!”

I can’t tell if he has a mental disorder, if it’s just an act, or if he really is truly baffled from all of the opposition coming from the audience. Any of these reasons are dangerous and the man needs to be booted out of office swiftly and surely!

Sooooo...the federal government can do anything it wants, except for, say, banning illegal aliens from working.

OK, got it.

The guy represents his constituants so the majority of people in his district must be vile, crude and ignorant.

I hope that folks realize that there are two separate issues. Illegals should not be here and should be removed. On the other hand the US constitution forbids impairment of obligations of contract. Somebody does beneficial service for you, you have to pay him. I don’t care if he is legal or illegal, so long as the service itself is legal. If you allow the government to undermine obligations of contract we are all doomed. We really are. It is one of the few bedrocks that conservatives can rest their case on, and if they allow this to be undone, we are doomed.

It's because his constituents are highly educated.

Ahem.

Now how did that one get in there? Hand eye coordination, or just plain lack of?

Perhaps a poll on Fortney Pete Stark:

__Suffers from Age-Related Dementia
__Suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease
__Suffers from Alcoholism
__Suffers from Drug Dependency
__All of the Above

The insane statements are never ending. Next up, “if the government doesn’t throw every conservative in jail immediately, it would be unconstitutional”.

I don’t care if he is legal or illegal, so long as the service itself is legal.

By law, the underlying contract is illegal. Governments reserve the right to put limitations on what is legal in a contract, such as not allowing those under 18 to enter into a contract, and those not here legally to enter into an employment contract.

This waste, stark, must dig deep into his one remaining sort-of functioning brain cell to come up with his garbled utterances. What a fool.

Funny how these RATS are always pushing for higher and higher minimum wages and then they are the first ones to argue that illegals should be allowed to work even if it's for next to nothing.

What he oughta be doing is working towards Unionizing illegal laborers.

Wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-it a minute......

Give them a job cleaning up the trash they created coming north while they are going south. They get the money at the border with a warning that the next time we catch their a$$ up here they will be swimming back, and not across the Rio.

Do you read your own post? "...as long as the service itself is legal"

This implies that the government can (and does) interefere in illegal activities.

If there is a law against those in this country illegally from working, then the service they perform is by definition illegal.

One way to slow down the flood of illegal immigration is to take away the incentive for coming here, jobs.

I see nothing unconstitutional about that.

Too late. Auto Industry shareholders lost their contractual rights. Financial industry executives lost their contractual bonuses.
