I’m not sure what radio show you’re referring to, but also, for the sake of accuracy, he has gone to a Christian church a couple of times since taking office.
What I think can fairly be argued is that his background, family and upbringing are Muslim—and his primary religious sympathy appears to be with Islam. That involves not just defending it, but promoting its merits wherever possible.

I don’t agree: I think he showed up at a Black church one time to make a political speech, not to sit down and worship.
