The Anchorage Daily News ran a story late yesterday evening on Joe McGinniss leaving Alaska and it is more of a follow up to an earlier story published by A.P.:
This summer, he resumed temporary residence in Alaska to research his next book -- this one about Sarah Palin -- and rented a house in Wasilla next to the former governor's place.
The Anchorage Daily News plays up McGinniss' love for Alaska and at the end of the A.P. story, McGinniss is stating:
"...That's my interest in her. If she was the governor of Nebraska, I wouldn't be writing about her, because I wanted a reason to come back to Alaska, and she was my key to the door."
Now McGinniss is stating that if Palin was the Governor of Nebraska he would not be writing about her?
All I have to say is, Joe McGinniss is lucky that Stacy McCain didn't show up at McGinniss' temporary abode, disguised as an A.P. reporter.
If McCain had, I am sure the story written about McGinniss leaving Alaska would have had a different ending.
But to get an idea of how it may have gone, here is a sample of McCain's feelings on the matter:
On the other side of a tall fence that Todd built to protect what remains of his family's privacy is a rental home currently occupied by Joe McGinniss, a journalist with a contract for a book about Palin. When McGinniss moved in and the Palins complained about this bizarre intrusion, McGinniss went on NBC's Today show to portray himself as the victim of "the same kind of tactic that the Nazi troopers used in Germany in the '30s." As ironic as that claim may be, perhaps the greater irony is that anytime Sarah publicly mentions the media's evident vendetta against her, her critics accuse her of "whining."
There is a clear difference between a Palin stalker who writes fiction and a writer who can get a story and state the facts.
McGinniss falls into the category of Palin stalker and fiction writer because Palin is the story not Alaska or Nebraska.
His comments that he would not be writing about Palin if she were the Governor of Nebraska should be posed to Random House - are you in the business of publishing fiction as fact?
So what could he have learned living next door behind a fence in a hostile environment? Particularly since she was gone most of the time.
Where is he from ???
I hope he is not a Canadian McGinniss...

...Not a dang thing, all the while for the record stating his book wasn’t the reason he was renting the house next door.
If the publisher thinks they are going to sell any of these books they better print them on Kleenex or TP.
Photoshop prints to ensue.
Guaranteed flop of a book.
If he was Dem running for office the libs would be funneling campaign cash to this fool via the SEIU, ACORN and Obama's hidden stimulus cash with phony book purchases.
