My Friend, a Wellesley Parent, & The Forced Islamic Prayer by Public School Students

But as I always say–and have been saying for more than a decade, there is only a separation of Church and State in America, NOT Mosque and State. In the case of Islam, anything goes. In fact, if parents had not taken and posted video of this, the half-assed apology letter would never have happened. And that’s the point. The teachers, the principal, and the school district knew better and would NEVER have allowed–let alone forced–students to pray as Christians, reciting their allegiance to Jesus in a church, or as Jews in a synagogue. It would never have gotten this far. But teachers, principals, school districts, law enforcement, government, and other authorities in America all bend over backward–and forward–for Islam. And that’s the larger problem here, a problem I’ve been writing about since well before 9/11.

And if the teachers claim they didn’t know better, they are far too stupid to be teaching children. Watch the video, and read the letter linked above. These kids are BEING PROSELYTIZED and propagandized for ISLAM. I repeat: they knew better, knew it was wrong to make kids do this, and they’d never do it at a church or synagogue. But for Islam, anything goes. If it were 1940, would they have these kids practice a “Sig Heil” salute to Hitler and the Reich? Same difference. Except the teachers were smarter in those days, they actually taught instead of taking kids on mindless, useless multi-cultural field trips, and they (most of them) actually were patriotic to America. None of that is the case, today.

Schlussel acts like she’s a leftist operative who pretends to be anti-islamist so that she can then criticize particular areas of the conservative agenda—like tea party candidates—thinking she has credibility.

There’s a hell of a lot more Jews in Wellesley than Muslims.

This practice will be nipped in the bud.

Ch 4 Boston was reporting the kids were also taken to a synagogue, a Hindu outpost, and a “gospel concert”. Not a Christian church, but a “gospel concert”

I lived in Brookline MA while attending BC. Mainly Jewish and Roman Catholic everywhere!

How did this happen?

Don’t bother wasting your time and energy with psychoanalysis and don’t waste your breath telling us that it’s wrong, wrong, wrong. That’s established. The question is: what are we gonna’ do about it?

So long as the school administrators in these instances can get off with a bit of public embarrassment and maybe a wrist slap or two, at worst, they will keep doing it.

The standard defence public school administrators have to outraged parents in incidents such as these is basically: “So what? sue the school district and you’ll be suing yourselves”. I’d like to hear from the more legally-minded what the most effective approach would be in these instances, because s**t like this is happening all the time across the country and the good guys need a playbook.

I’m not a legal eagle but perhaps suing individual teachers and administrators is the way to go?

You can't say, "One Nation, under God...", but you can force children to do islamic prayers...

If the parents of these children don't engage in a class-action lawsuit of the school, and the teachers and administrators involved, they are f***ing fools.

Reading, science, and math scores in MA schools must all be in the upper 90th percentile seeing as how they've got time and money to piss away on this stupidity.

Obviously, this is wrong.

But my kid wouldn’t have gone into the mosque, much less prayed to a muslim god.

Does anyone know if permissions slips were required, complete with parent signatures?

In our district, parent get a “subjects covered and class expectations” letter for each of the kids’ classes. Parents are required to sign and return the each form.

Each field trip requires a signed permission slip, which details the itinerary and educational goal of the trip.

Forget about suing. And don’t be distracted by the wrong strategies, like suing.

The way to go is the ballot box.

Donate to constitutionalist candidates. Elect O’Donnell, Angle, West and other constitutionalists. Palin 2012.

Then we dismantle and defund. Goodbye Department of Education. Goodbye NEA. Goodbye entrenched bureaucrats.

Hello constitutionalist judges.

Goodbye socialism.

First town in the commonwealth to declare itself a “sanctuary city”

Swellsley is exactly the same — as is Newton — it’s Barney Franks district.
