Mad as Hell Day is Sept 23: stand with the Leavenworth ten against cowardly Rules of Engagement

Cruel. Despicable. Mean. Demonic. Deplorable. Duplicitous. Deceitful. Hypocritical. Dishonorable.

No words in the dictionary are adequate to describe what is being done to 10 brave U.S. soldiers and Marines who are languishing in the Fort Leavenworth brigade.

They are there for volunteering to protect us and after being placed into the fog of war to fight our enemies, “violating” our military’s feckless politically correct Rules of Engagement (RoE).

Because of the “Catch and Release” policy that is sacrificing our young men’s lives for a touchy feely new war model, enemy combatants who attack our young men and women can be sent back to their families and battlefields to fight again. All they need is a tribal elder to say, “He won’t do it again,” to gain his freedom.

We were given this sad news from Florida radio talk show host Joyce Kaufman who led a Labor Day convoy of Florida protestors.

They joined many others on the L10 FREEDOM RIDE to the front of the Leavenworth military prison. Please note the bikers were not permitted onto the grounds because as Joyce said, they wore gloves with the fingers cut off, not the full gloves required. WHAT?

Our insane RoE’s protect the enemy, but force our own brave soldiers into the brigade, solitarily penned in a black hole of confinement.

1st LT Michael Behenna, Army Ranger, sentenced to 25 years for shooting an Al-Qaeda operative.

PFC Corey Clagett, followed orders as did Evan Vela Carnahan. Both are now prisoners.

Msg John E. Hatley, only 6 months short of retirement after a THIRD Iraq deployment is with them. So are Spc. William B. Hunsaker and Sgt Larry Hutchins…….

Time for the military leadership to stand up. They need to get their JAG Corps straightened out.And en-mass they need to stand on the Capital steps ant tell the Americans that they will not allow PC ROEs to get their children killed. It is a simple powerful statement that is long overdue.

This is truly disgusting. If these other cases had gotten the needed coverage as the Haditha Matines got this may not have happened.

"Were two U.S. soldiers recently killed because they weren’t allowed to carry their handguns into a meeting at a military base in Baghdad when an Iraqi defense operative opened fire? Were the nine soldiers with them who survived but are wounded, victims of this stupidity? We’ll be kept in the dark about this deadly incident, too.

Does anyone have any additional info re: this incident? This is the first I've heard of it and despite searching high an low can find no other references to it.
